Our core players have participated in so many finals and big games already that they subconsciously think of those fixtures as a little sniff. This season and the season before there was evidently lack of concentration in countless games. This makes me believe that our new permanent manager's one of strongest attributes should be motivating, not purely technical (I admit, AVB was more of a technical rather than a mental manager). This team seems to thrive on emotion more than anything.. look at how they've picked themselves up now that the decisive moments of the season have arrived, even though most of them are average footballers and it showed when they played without spirit and tangible pressure.

Exactly my thoughts. I have awful memory on usernames, but good memory on well-presented posts. I do have some stand-out names in my mind, but it will be tricky to think of one for every category. Furthermore, it's incredibly hard to remember what went on in the whole past year. At least for me, I remember virtually nothing of past summer and autumn, although I know what the general mood and discussions were about, just not by whom. I'm almost certain that most of those nominations are based on last few months max, especially by newer members. I will put some thought in if and how I'm going to vote and then I'll get back to you.

I thought he was good in 1st half. In 2nd half 'pool started exploiting our right more aggressively which ultimately lead to his unlucky mistake.
