  1. Post-season friendlies? The fuck? Haven't we played enough games this season? The logic...
  2. Oh come on, haven't you learned anything? It's obvious that Chelsea fans are the best. We're the smartest, the best, better than the rest. Much like religious fanats see things. Jokes aside, the reality is that nobody's a full saint, nobody's fully evil. We see things in an extremely biased way, we mostly ignore our negatives and stress our positives or twist and turn the negatives into positives. We do the opposite with our rivals, we refuse to acknowledge them. Truth is our rivals have genuine reasons to hate/dislike us, as do we with them. Fact is we are all, well maybe not all, but most football fans supporting one club are hypocrites. So are we, I've seen it a lot. Things that we criticize City for, we praise if it involves us. Etc etc... Also, when you read other clubs' forums, everybody is convinced there is a conspiracy against them, mostly involving referees. We are convinced we are getting fucked by refs and that we get no luck, but you pop up at a Spurs or United or Arsenal forum and they say exactly the same stuff about themselves. Truth is we're all not that different, people just want to feel different to others just for the sake of it. There needs to be basis for rivalry, there always has been a need for it. It should be harmless entertainment and banter, until you see hooligans injuring and killing people. This is when things go too far. But generally I see all this rivalry thing as adults playing games, seeing who can piss off others the most. This is basically the whole point, how much can you piss people off. Football, in truth, has no meaning at all. It's like watching theatre plays every week, it gives us heros to worship, much like little girls fall in love with pop stars. That's why I don't allow it to bother me too much, it's just entertainment. I don't know how about you, but I take rivalry as a game, I don't actually hate anybody for their religion, race, gender and much less for what sports club they support. When I enter into a debate with a rival, I assume he takes it as light banter and fun as well, the moment it starts getting too heated and personal, I step aside. I just reread what I wrote and I don't even know why the fuck I wrote this. But it took me too long to just delete it, so I'm just gonna post it.
  3. Still a bit premature to state that he is definitely gone, it's merely speculations at the moment. But it looks very likely that he is going. What I'm most worried about is that they might actually have a go for Mourinho, despite strong links with Pellegrini, but we have first hand experience that strong links often mean nothing. Those rumours could be planted as a smoke screen to keep the real target a secret, like we have done in the past. Even if they don't have any interest in Mourinho, then I'm also pondering the possibility that the JM camp will start milking the situation, stating to us that there is interest and we need to pay big bucks. Those kind of negotiations can stall the agreement for weeks, which means less time for preparation and more nerve wrecking. I hope our deal with Jose is done or that it will be done soon, I'm talking days or even hours, because if it isn't when Mancini is officially shown the door, things could get ugly. I hope I'm wrong about this, but if I'm not, we could get royally fucked and settle for another de facto interim manager. Best case scenario? Mancini stays, we get Mou. Second best case? Mancini off, Pellegrini (or any other manager) quickly confirmed as a replacement, we get Mou.
  4. I assume it's because you're a bloody cunt, just like a period. just kidding, pls don't hurt me
  5. No. It's the free kick that flew in without anyone touching it. I don't remember who it was against though, but it defo wasn't Spurs @ Wembley.
  6. I like the romantic possibility of every old guard member stepping down with something memorable. Didier with the CL winning penalty and equalizing goal, Frank with the ultimate record while guaranteeing the club a top 4 finish, next in line would be Terry with something amazing and then Cech. This would be quite a story. Imagine the possibility to make tear jerker videos. They would show all 4 of them getting together for the first time in 2004, playing their first game together, all the achievements and failures they've had together over the years, hugging, crying, celebrating, shouting... and it would end in silence showing them having their ultimate moments described above.
  7. The furthest dot on the right is probably the insane free kick against Wolves(?) EDIT: Oops, it was against Ipswich, just seen BluesMaster's post.
  8. Looking at some of the dots I can remember the goals
  9. Nice try of fixing your little tantrum fit here, but your explanations don't cut it. What you said was this: he's forever scum; Mourinho is dead to me; Burn the museum, we never won back to back titles. Forever a traitor.; I give up on football actually. You used tenses which never suggested a condition had to be met in order for you to mean them. It was low and disgusting and there is no way for you to excuse yourself out of it other than admitting you were wrong.
  10. Stop fucking with Wilson's thread please. It's bad enough its title has been changed twice.
  11. Are there any other clubs who have a midfielder as their all time top scorer? I would really like to know, because I can't think of any. Also, Lamps isn't just an attacking midfielder, he isn't the kind whose only duty is to attack. It's really easy to forget that because of the insane amount of goals he scores. But we must remember he isn't only about goals, he used to play defensive midfield and this season he plays deeper too. In the games where we needed to defend, he was immense. He's always been a tireless workhorse, trying to perfect everything there is to perfect as a footballer. As a result he became the complete player we now see. He does it all - defending, tackling, scoring, poaching, assisting, passing, corners, penalties, free kicks, right foot, left foot, mid range, long range shooting. We talk about the Peles and Maradonas and Zidanes and Ronaldos and Messis of the world, but they have/had only one job to do, they are/were not even remotely close to being complete players. Therefore I refrain myself from automatically naming an attacker as the best, because for me, the best are those who are most complete. Lampsy fits the criteria. I don't think we really understand how good he was during his prime, it was unprecedented. He is a unique player throughout the world. Every other player you can compare to somebody, but you can't do that with Lampard. The closest you can come with comparisons are still too far. He really should have won the Ballon d'Or at least once, but the wankfest over flashy attackers robbed him continuously. He is a brilliant player, a brilliant person. Thank you, Frank.
  12. Who's this? I can't find this name on the memberlist. You misspelt his name, it should be #Backstreet09.
  13. Now that City have officially bottled their season big time, I can see Mancini getting sacked. Our board must consider this possibility and act on Mourinho quickly! If we haven't tied up the deal before Mancini is officially shown the door, we will be in a fight which would result in inflated prices for the services of Jose. So if we want to save our nerves and money, it better be done swiftly and decisively, not taking time "evaluating" shit candidates.
  14. So happy for Wigan, it's always nice to see an underdog achieving something. Their celebrations are genuine, they don't think along the lines "oh well, it's a cute consolation to not winning the league". So yeah, suck it you City failures :lol2: Btw, where does the word 'underdog' come from? A dog under something?
  15. It's not funny yea, but when he was making that run I was smiling. I've never seen a player this quick with the ball at his feet, at least I can't recall anybody. He's so fast there is no other way to dispossess him at full speed other than fouling or, like in that injury situation, block the ball. In him we got the pace we needed and more. He will now get a fully deserved rest in the summer and I cannot wait to see how he performs fresh and with the debut season behind him.
  16. Representing our hood @SinineUltra, @MetsajCFC, @BlueDude
  17. He ran so fast he injured himself
  18. Can't see him coming here. Imagine Torres and Rooney, it would look so strange. Torres alone feels like foreign substance, Rooney would make it two. They simply don't belong here, Torres is forever scouser and Rooney is forever manc. I can't see him going to City or Liverpool, no way, he would get killed, and neither to Arsenal or Sperms, because I assume he still has some ambitions. The only other English club I can picture him in is back at Everton when he's past it and just wants to ride out his professional career. So if he is to go, I think he would go abroad, some place like Real or Bayern. But his best option is to stay put imo, he's at a club that's doing well and where he's loved. Also, can this be the reason why he suddenly wants to leave? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/celebritynews/2069407/Wayne-Rooney-settles-autobiography-libel-dispute-with-Everton-manager-David-Moyes.html

  20. Damn, I forgot about this thread, although I want to participate and name my nominations. I can't do this now, but I'll be back some time later so is it possible to wait with closing the nominations until I've given my votes?
  21. Is this a serious post? Ba is a worse than Torres because his topic was lower? Have you read Torres's topic and what 95% is made of? Hate towards him. In fact his topic has the most pages, does this mean he's our best player? It's also no surprise he wasn't voted for best signing of the season when he's been used sparsely, he joined only in January and we signed Hazard. Also, you're saying Ba has been above average and Torres has been better, what does that make Torres then... good? You're entitled to your opinion, but your arguments to support this opinion aren't valid.
  22. The fuck? Do you want the controversial award so badly? It's like with politicians - you wake up just for the time of elections. At least I hope it's just an act, otherwise you're an idiot. Sent from my GT-S5660 using Tapatalk 2
