Agreed with both. Okay Justin was a bit of an a'hole and probably deserved the boot in the end. But what irks me is that some of those members got banned very quickly, while Spike is now talking about double standards due to Term's warning count, but for example zolayes was the biggest condescending cock and provocator of all time, yet it took years for the staff to do anything about it (probably due to him being a donator, so thank you Jason for finally doing what needed to be done). Many, including Sloth you mentioned, got banned due to acting on his provocations, yet zolayes himself emerged unscathed every single fucking time. If every member had acted like him, this place would be a cesspit. There are double standards, there is no doubt about that. Like referees in football, staff here should agree to some kind of consistency in making decisions.

In the light of that explanation it's still weird as fuck that you decided to do it now instead of, say, the moment you became mod/admin. It doesn't add up if you really felt that way since the beginning. I also see no practical value in banning him so far in retrospect, because for a long time he has been much mellower and didn't cause any trouble, meaning he had matured and learned from his mistakes. I just don't see any point in such retrospective bannings if it's the forum's well-being you are so concerned about, because in the present he wasn't a problem anymore. The past has long gone. In my opinion this kind of behaviour is unprofessional.

What I mean is what particularly recently made you make this decision? I'm well aware of his past and his tendency for controversy and whatnot, but so far nobody did anything about it, so for me it's weird that all of a sudden you decide to ban him. But if he recently breached the rules somehow, then I can't have any complaints. I'm just asking for concrete reasons (provided you haven't deleted the offending posts), not what he did in yesteryear when staff clearly didn't see a reason to kick him out permanently. Also what bad did he say in the kits thread? I've kept an eye on that thread and he was just saying that Nike and Adidas are elite brands for elite clubs, or did I miss something?
-
Can you point out any posts or other reasons why he got the banned?
-
Term X.. was it necessary to ban him permanently?

Nah man, that pic of me is ace! Squatting like a pro...

Excited. Adidas was becoming boring. Plus I don't think I own anything from Adidas, however I do own a pair of Nike shoes and a sweat suit, both are great. Adidas is strongly associated with low life scum (chavs) here in the eastern block Better logo, better name, more money, probably better kit designs, possibly more exposure and promotion. Good deal!

Keeping a player you already had is in no shape or form a sign of rebuilding. You can say that again once we make our first move in the market.
-
The decision has been taken following the appointment of Antonio Conte as the club’s new manager last month, and consultation between Terry, Conte, the owner and the board. Conte making fans happy already
-
Well his playing time will be a lot less also, much reduced wage for much less workload sounds fair.

So we play Mikel and Matic for defensive solidity against relegation fodder, Ivanovic and Azpilicueta supposedly for the same reason. Despite that we bottle the lead twice, RLC and Kenedy don't get a look in, Mikel plays until the 83rd minute when we should have been chasing the equalizer. I must admit, Hiddink was doing a good job when he first took over, but by the end of the season he is losing it. Nothing to play for but "pride", he continuously fields the same players who shit on pride. He ignores the youngsters who have been showing great promise despite not playing for anything. Conte can't take over quickly enough.
-
Actually it happens that he played in our best period this season. Our season was fucked during Mourinho's tenure and then Mikel hardly featured, if at all.
-
I am not convinced yet. He needs to show more for me to consider him world class. I would narrow it down even further - his finishing is world class, his movement is great, but a world class striker constitutes more for me. Think Drogba, Zlatan or Eto'o. Costa imo isn't at that level to categorize him in the same bracket when we are still debating whether he is better than Lukaku or Kane. BUT he has time, he's "only" 27, but he's not played professionally very long, he could be a late bloomer. He definitely needs to make dramatic improvement to his technique if he is ever to be considered one of the best, all strikers need to be able to control the ball.

Thought hiring Mourinho would be the saving grace and bring soul back, but it all went down to shit worse than anybody could imagine. I'm also becoming disillusioned.
-
If JT is let go, then it would be the right time to make a joint testimonial match in pre-season for Petr, Ash, JT, Frank and Drogs... not a single one of them got one. But knowing the club doubt it will happen, a short obituary on the website will be the end of it.
-
For Traore. Pato is dead meat like Falcao.
-
Agreed. His suspect decision making and lack of technical ability to release the perfect pass limit his on-ball play significantly. If he improved that part of his game and also aerial play, he would be world class, but at the moment he's far from it. You can see he didn't go through football academy education, he's rough around the edges, but at least he knows how to put the ball in the back of the net.
-
IF we play 3-5-2, then the only positions for him are either AM or SS.
-
Probably gonna be VC if JT leaves and Ivan stays.
-
Have you ever seen Maka do this? Or that? Or this and that?
-
Awful.

hahahaha

Simeone is batshit crazy, but I like it
-
You can say that about any other manager in the world.

Don't shout before dawn, one goal for a team like bayern can come out of nothing. Last 10 minutes will be hell for atletico.
