Impressed. First start and full 90 in the EPL coming from a weak league, he was rock solid and barely put a wrong foot in, calm in possession and facing opponents. Looking forward to seeing him more, he might not be another Papy after all. Borderline MOTM for me, considering between him and RLC. Miazga, Zouma, Christensen + a new established and experienced CB would do the trick for the next years to come.

Keeping Courtois is more important than keeping a short-term backup goalie happy. If we sell a world class goalie because of a rough patch, we will be in danger of changing goalies every few years, and that is never a good thing.

They might have been crap, but average goalkeepers would have folded to pressure after the second shot. His recovery and awareness after every save was what you expect from a top GK, but not from a shitty one like many here would have you believe. Btw, I chose that video because I just saw an interview with Tibo where he said that he considers this his best (triple) save. He should know firsthand how easy or difficult it was, and he has pulled some absolute worldies over the years.
