  1. It is quite remarkable to see the intellectual decline of the USA, how increasingly more influenced the masses are by ever-growing blatant populism and demagoguery. Even their last few presidents mirror that decline in society, when Trump and Biden are the most popular candidates they can put out despite having way more competent people to choose from. Could it be attributed to the lack of free or affordable education? Or is it the quality of education - or both? This is one fundamental flaw in democracy - you can't trust the people to make the best choices, but the better educated they are, the more likely they are to collectively make the best choices. We are easily influenced and manipulated, some more than others, by people or entities with power, money and control over information, who will find ways to exploit our gullible hive minds for their gains. In such cases critical thinking is essential in societies, but you can't expect that from people who are uneducated, neglected and angry, which is what I believe to be the case in the States more than in many European countries, due to us having free/cheaper education and healthcare (but that makes us commies, doesn't it).
  2. I only care about results on the pitch. I don't know anything about any of the bidding parties. Can anybody tell me who, in your opinion, would be the best owner for us in terms of ensuring results in games?
  3. Second - manpe Third - "Hit list" 😆 Get a life King Kante.
  4. What do you want us to do? NATO is afraid of Russia, it's sadly a fact. They will not do anything no matter how many of us write to some corrupt politicans. There are bigger powers at play unfortunately.
  5. What are you talking about? There are no elections in Russia. What you are referring to are staged and completely fixed theatrical performances for their people. Putin will die in office, best we can hope for is that it will be by assassination rather than age.
  6. I still don't understand how that prevents us from being sanctioned though? Him transferring the running of the club to somebody else doesn't change the fact that we are still OWNED by him. If they wanted to sanction us that little statement wouldn't stop them, would it? I want to see Abramovich condemn Russia's actions in Ukraine. If he doesn't, I'm all for selling the club.
  7. You answered none of my questions.
  8. What about the time he threw stuff at the cat while it was trying to get away? Or when he let a CHILD put the cat on a counter and then SLAPPED it across its head off the counter? How about the example it sets for the child? Regarding the kick - he threw the cat down like a football before kicking it. If the cat was already on the ground then I might even agree with you that it was just a push, but the cat was falling down when the kick happened, so by the laws of physics the force of the kick was much stronger than it would be if the cat was static. It was definitely enough to potentially injure it. Now a thought experiment to you. Let's imagine that YOU can't feel pain and are not easily injured. In that case, would it make it okay for people to just push you around, throw shit at you, kick and slap you how they please for their amusement? After all, you don't feel pain and are not easily injured, so it must make it totally fine, right...?
  9. That's one positive thing about social media. You have absolute morons filming their crimes and sharing them online out of sheer stupidity. Thank fuck they were stupid enough to film and share it, otherwise no-one would know. And it 100% wasn't the first time and wouldn't have been the last had he not implicated himself like a fool, which just goes to show the total lack of intelligence he has.
  10. You are so ignorant on the topic you obviously have no idea what you're talking about, you're just repeating some old bullshit stereotypes of cats. They are much more complex animals than you could ever fathom.
  11. How can you possibly know that the cat takes it as a game and doesn't get hurt? "Because it's a cat"...? Fuck you and fuck Zouma.
  12. What a finish by Azpi 🥳 Didn't expect that.
  13. In that video vs France he looks motivated and up to it. He did also for us in the first couple of games, he actually looked good, but then he started sulking for some reason and now he doesn't look bothered anymore. The interview said everything we need to know - he doesn't want to be here and it shows. In most of the situations you see in that video he would carelessly lose to ball or get bullied by defenders playing for us - that's not something you can blame on the manager or his teammates. He wants to be recognized as world class like Lewa or Ronaldo, but he doesn't have the attitude nor skills to back that up. A tactical setup can only help you up to a point, but if you depend solely on the system being built around catering to your strenghts but otherwise are useless, then that makes you a "system player" not a world class one.
  14. I have a feeling Lukaku's presence is demoralizing to the team, not only because he said he didn't want to be at Chelsea. Yesterday Ziyech overhit a pass to him on the right flank, Lukaku got to it but obviously lost it because that's what he does. Then he turned to Ziyech and started complaining with that sourpuss face of his, instead of showing some encouragement with a thumbs up saying "thanks for spotting me" or "better luck next time" or whatever, but no he had to be all pissy about it. I would hate to play with a teammate like that. And when Ziyech scored he didn't celebrate at all, not even a smile, what was that all about? What's going on with our players' moral?
  15. Can't believe Havertz sat out 80 minutes in favour of Lukaku, who did nothing. We won the CL with Havertz leading the line, can't Tuchel remember that? Took far too long to make changes.
  16. I don't know if the data in Spotrac is accurate, but if it is, then Werner and Lukaku both are earning well above 200K and Chilwell near 200K. Rüdiger has done more than any of them and has been a longer servant. If I was him, I would also be asking 200K at the very least. He is more important than all of them combined and has proven himself as a leader.
  17. It's kinda satisfying to see stuff like that (yeah I'm a douche I know) happening to such obnoxious cunts. Do what you do, believe what you believe, don't get vaccinated, don't wear a mask.. whatever, I personally really don't care what people choose to do as long as they're respectful about it. But if you're going around being loud and abusive about it, you get zero sympathy points from me once karma finally strikes.
  18. Yeah, we don't know and can't be sure. Doesn't hurt to speculate and ask questions though. 🙂 Bad thing is that we are moving in a direction that if we speculated to or asked questions from a big enough audience, we'd be silenced and discredited. Conspiracies are notoriously hard to prove though when they involve powerful entities that control the flow of information and money. And if you do prove something, they will come for your head (Assange, Snowden prime examples). That's why most of them stay just that - theories. Maintaining critical thinking, common sense and making choices based on those is the best we can do as individuals.
  19. Modern LED bulbs don't pop out as often anymore, they last for years. But it's true regarding the bulbs in general, it was(is?) a massive cartel agreement for profit. I'm also not saying they did it for sure with these vaccines. I'm just saying IF they had the means to produce much more efficient vaccines and medicines in general (not only covid), they wouldn't have much incentive to make them publicly available. Even if they did, probably only the filthy rich would be able to afford them.
  20. Is it true that covid vaccination will become mandatory for ALL health workers in England? In my city they fired unvaccinated ambulance workers, as if there was an abundance of competent people to choose from. We can read weekly how we lack workers in every sector, yet somehow they are able to fire people in mass. Most got the jab out of fear of losing their jobs though. I think it's a fucking disgrace, to quote one classic Didier Drogba. Current vaccines were created for strains that are long gone. They may have been more effective against those, but every scientist now says that they are not as effective in stopping transmission of delta and especially omicron. This is also clear to see from statistics around the world. Their whole point is not stopping transmission, but to prevent severe sickness and death (this is being parroted in the media ever since delta came along). So it begs the question, how on earth is being slightly less contagious for only one type of virus more important than competence and experience in the health sector? The most important sector I would argue, the one place where you don't let good people go so easily. I for sure would prefer to be treated by unvaccinated good doctors and nurses who know what they're doing, rather than vaccinated shit ones. Plus, why don't they then require the same for the flu? It is also very rough and deadly on elders and immunodeficient people. It is the patients who need to be vaxxed if they want to prevent hard disease, not the doctors. If a vaccinated doctor infects an unvaccinated patient, then what good does it do for the patient? Again - it all comes down to everybody's personal choice. Either force everyone to get the jab or no one. Bullying health workers will accomplish nothing IMO, they are not the issue, they are the solution. Fucking hell how this all stinks....
  21. A little thought experiment: What's in it for pharmaceutical companies if they released vaccines or medicines that would actually work close to 100%? They can sell it one time per person and that's it. It would be a limited source of income, but if you look at how they happily exploit their favourite country USA, it becomes clear that their main incentive is profit and ONLY profit, along with insurers (basically dealers for suppliers). People in the States go broke over fucking insulin shots, without which they would die, and they do die because pharmas/insurers absolutely don't care about you if you are unable to contribute to their profits. I always question motives of big pharma companies, their history of lying and cover-ups is appalling (including Pfizer)... And now when I'm reading from our state media how booster shots are gradually being moved closer and closer, from 6 months to 4-5 months to now only 2 months... It's making me skeptical as fuck. Injecting people so often is experimental, NOT proven to not have any adverse effects in the long run. I'm not getting my booster before 5-6 months, if at all. How it's being forced onto people is also shady as fuck, I don't trust politicians and pharma companies and never will. I want to make my own judgement and I want people to be able to make their own judgements, not be forced to take part in experiments.
  22. What you're describing reminds me of the film Captain Fantastic (2016) - IMDb 🙂 Great movie, recommended.
  23. You know, me and my girlfriend have decided not to have any children in this fucked up world. I think we will all live to see the collapse of our civilization as we know it, mainly due to climate change, clean water shortage, pollution, greed and overconsumption. The cost of living is only getting higher too, children born into the world are already effectively in debt. They are also being brainwashed with all the bullshit social medias, TikToks, Snapchats etc... I have Snapchat and it's unbelievable the oversexualised and shallow content that is being fed to little kids. TikTok the same, it's a psychological weapon by China to further deteriorate western people and collect as much data as possible. TikTok itself is banned in China, that should tell us everything we need to know. But I digressed, sorry
  24. Thanks, I'll have a look at it. I myself am vaccinated and wear a mask wherever necessary, I do tend to put my trust in what some would call mainstream science, but I find it alarming how people are being selectively silenced. Even if it is all false what they are saying, how can we be sure that this same silencing method will not be or is not already being used on other topics under the guise of disinformation, to further someone's agenda for their gain? It's reminiscent of how China and other authoritarian countries want to control their own "truth" by censoring the internet. It's a dangerous path.
