  1. Signs of an immature team, which it is. The performance was horrid yesterday. Havertz shouldn't be starting at the moment, we looked a better side with Kovacic and Havertz doesn't bring anything to the team currently. It is the first time I'm watching him play regularly and I don't see what all the hype has been about. Werner also, but he must be knackered since he's had almost no rest at all, and we have no replacement when our wingers are injured all the god damn time. It's clear as day he is a central attacker, which makes it even more baffling to me that he's being instructed to hug the touchline... Why? Not once did we see Werner drift central, try cut-in shots or runs behind. Always wide, far from the goal, receiving the ball to feet and facing 3-5 players... He is not the type to dribble past players and create chances, that was Hazard. He is there to FINISH chances. Fucks sake, I like him very much but he's being over- and misused. When one of CHO or Ziyech comes back he needs to be benched or moved central. I'm dying to see a proper pacey, technically proficient front 3 (Pulisic, Werner, Ziyech).
  2. Yes, it's pretty apparent we are counting on crosses, especially with Giroud on. Maybe taking him off would encourage them to attempt something different than crosses. Hope to see Tammy and Kovavic on soon for Giroud and Havertz (he's being abysmal atm). Sent from my Redmi Note 9 Pro using Tapatalk
  3. We will never get to play Werner, Pulisic and Ziyech together, will we? Werner is wasted on the wing, even more so on the right side. Fuck how frustrating those injuries are...
  4. Makes no sense not to have him even on the bench if he's not injured.
  5. From CFC website: "Mateo Kovacic comes in for injured Hakim Ziyech with Kai Havertz expected to move from midfield into a more forward role." It's gonna be Kai at RW.
  6. And now there are more casualties than 9/11 every day in the USA. It's all on him. But according to some users on here, the stock market is more important and they keep voting for him.
  7. Got nervous after reading the news that Kepa will start, but then calmed down after remembering it's a dead rubber game. Still would be nice to win tho, a bit more pleasing to go through on points than on GD (if Sevilla win and we lose). It would also be great to see youngsters and benchies play some good stuff and get the W... keeps the winning atmosphere going. Kepa... I just hope he doesn't fuck up in any way. He needs every bit of confidence he can get, 'cause we might have to rely on him if Mendy is ever out... And as we can see and have had countless examples before - a goalkeeper can make or break a season. I'm afraid a disaster performance here would irreversibly destroy him. So Kepa, no howlers please.
  8. Vesper always posts in match threads.
  9. Anybody else find it weird when stuff like this is done only AFTER somebody dies? As if they weren't worthy during their life to give that recognition, but somehow death elevates their contribution of the past.
  10. Yeah lol I thought what was that all about, but it's actually a pretty clever play to block a potential low shot.
  11. I'm sorry to say this, but people like this should die. Nurses like her should focus all their resources and attention to people who deserve to be saved. Yes, I acknowledge that those poor Trumpard COVID deniers are victims of psychological warfare, but when they are like this even in the face of death, they are beyond repair and should be allowed to slowly drift out of their misery. A mercy kill so to speak, even if they themselves wouldn't see it that way, but ultimately it would be better for them and the USA. So my proposal would be that instead of science-based western medicine, just leave them to the hands of the all-powerful God that they surely believe in.
  12. What I really can't wait, is his first trophy with us. It's gonna be fucking special! It's a dream scenario I always fantasized about when I was a teen idolizing him in his playing days, but never thought would have a high chance of happening. BUT it must happen with crowds back in the stadium!
  13. I wouldn't be surprised if their main evidence was a screenshot of Trump's tweets, "if the president says so then it must be true". It's most likely an act for the 72M people who voted for him, of whom an unsettlingly large percent believe any conspiracy theory thrown at them. It doesn't matter how many reputable sources contradict them, they don't believe it anyway, because it's the "deep state" and dumb shit like that that control everything. Main thing for Trump is not to confirm himself as a loser to those people, but as someone who was cheated by the people his voters hate, creating further hatred and division. Trump may be going out the door, but he has exposed the huge influence media propaganda has on the supposedly educated and not-so-easily-fooled western people and it worries me. They prey on the weak-minded lacking critical thinking and it's frightening to see just how many of such people are there. It's not just the US, it's been happening around Europe as well. Hell, even over here in small Estonia we have a nutjob RW party in the government, who surged in popularity right after Trump's successful election in 2017, after which they copied his rhetoric... 5 years ago nobody would have believed that they'd ever be anything more than a laughing stock in Estonian politics. Our interior minister from that party had to resign a few days ago, because he echoed Trump's propaganda in local media about rigged US elections and how Biden and his son are corrupt crooks. Otherwise I wouldn't be so worried, but the fact that such people are allowed to represent me and make decisions that affect peoples' lives, is sickening.
  14. This is my favourite post there: Damn straight
  15. I was wondering why Lamps never brought on CHO. Made only 2 subs and rather than bringing on CHO on his birthday, he ran Werner to the ground despite having the game in the bag (still a shit decision to take him off that late, Timo needs to be protected as much as possible). I was mad with Frank for that, but this explains it... No doubt he's being disciplined.
  16. Biden clinched Michigan, only 6 votes needed for 270... All eyes on Nevada (exactly 6 electoral votes, Biden has a very slim lead). Doesn't matter what Trump does in Pennsylvania, if Biden wins Nevada, it's over.
  17. According to Cube the Trump administration is being more open to some of his policy ideas concerning black people, while democrats said they liked the ideas but wanted to wait until after the election. He's going with who shows most support to his policies, but make no mistake he hates Trump the man like you can see above yourself. He's not a cultist, he just feels his ideas have a greater chance of getting done with the rethuglicans in power. Now, if he were smart he'd take those pre-election promises from rethuglicans with a huge spoon of salt, because they most likely just want black celebrity endorsers for obvious reasons.
  18. Cube made a whole song dissing Agent Orange.
  19. Cardi B > Little Pimp But for every Cardi B there is a Jack Black, Tom Hanks, Stevie Wonder, Eminem, Clooney, DiCaprio and so on. Even though showing off celebrity endorsers is like a dick measuring contest and doesn't mean much, I haven't seen any normal endorsers for Trump. Tekashi 69 and Kid Rock come to mind from the top of my head, now add Lil Pump to the mix, but there are most definitely more redneck celebs who I couldn't care less about. Lil Pump is one "artist" who I hate the most, so to me it's fitting him and Trump share a stage.
  20. A paid industry plant, drug and gun promoting cretin endorsing a racist diagnosable retard. What a fitting combo this is. At least Biden is endorsed by real celebrities.
  21. Half of their team is unavailable, no excuses here no matter what team we put out. Let's use this opportunity to rest some key players. I would like to see this: Mendy Azpi - Rüdiger - Tomori - Emerson Jorginho - Kovacic Mount Ziyech - Giroud - CHO I wanna see Giroud get time, he's been unfairly frozen out imo and needs to gain some match fitness.
  22. One thing I noticed about Mendy is that he doesn't put his arms slightly behind before jumping like Kepa does, which costs those crucial centimetres of either reaching or not reaching. It's a bad habit of Kepa's, sort of like Brana putting his hands behind his back... still remember how we all went nuts every time he did that. Anyway, Mendy doesn't have this habit, which is showing in saves like that Rashford shot.
  23. Been brilliant so far, it's odd seeing difficult shots being actually saved. Hope he keeps it up.
  24. I read Amy Coney Barrett has been a judge for merely 3 years, only a law professor before that. Is that true? In normal democratic countries 3 years of experience as a judge (or any other job for that matter) is considered to be a n00b and would never get into any supreme court for life tenure. This means she has impressed Trump and his criminal cronies in such a short time, which is a huge red flag. The US is a hot mess.
