There is no way we're going to sell 9 players. Not a chance. It wouldn't make any sense to make such wholesale changes when we have a balanced and stable squad. The only players that need replacing are the likes of Ballack and Deco, who should be replaced with the likes of Miralem Pjanic, Adem Ljajic or Riccardo Montolivo.

Terry is not beyond dropping just because he's the captain. Ancelotti needs to show some backbone and do the right thing - remove an under-performing player from the team. Give Lampard and armband for a month and let Terry prove he's ready to get back into the starting eleven and win back the captaincy.

Every club has their star striker and playmaker. Look at United; Giggs has supplied the vast majority of their assists this season and Rooney's scored more than the rest of their attacking players put together. Arsenal have Fabregas who's scored fifteen this season and set up just as many. The fact we have two players like this - plus Malouda, who has 12 assists this season to go with his eight goals - makes us very lucky indeed.

This is going to go either of two ways - we get completely outplayed and get knocked out or taken to a replay after a frustrating 90 minutes, or they suffer a 4-0 backlash. We all know which one we'd prefer but I am guessing the players feel like they've had the shit kicked into them.

I don't condone at all to what Terry did, but he's right to hit back at Craig Bellend.

Moving Ivanovic, a solid, no-nonsense defender into the middle will sure up the heart of the backline. Hopefully. We certainly miss Bosingwa at the minute; we've been very unfortunate with injuries to key men this season.

After watching their full 90 minutes yesterday, I'm more worried about Arsenal than United catching us. That being said I don't think any team has a particularly easy run in. Arsenal have a few potential banana skins, ie. Fulham and Birmingham, to add to tough-lookers against City and Tottenham.

Dropping Terry IS the answer. He's making too many unforced errors at the minute. He needs a kick up the arse as he takes his place for granted as he is the captain. Give the armband to Super Frank for a month and let Terry prove himself to the squad and to the fans. He's not cutting it at the minute I'm afraid to say.

My God, how we miss this man. He can't recover soon enough. According to Physio Room there's an outside chance he could be back for Inter at home.

We lose so much attacking energy without Malouda. Why Carlo didn't play Ferreira at LB yesterday was astonishing. Poor decision if you ask me. I know he did well in Milan, and it meant we had very attacking full-backs, but we needed extra cover for Tevez and Bellamy, so playing a left winger in the defence isn't exactly an ideal situation.

On the contrary, I think this is the strongest it's ever been. Chelsea, United and Arsenal have not improved, but Aston Villa, City, Tottenham, Everton and the like have. Birmingham are testament to that fact. It's because the league is so competitive and equal this season that the Big Three have been beaten so often.

I know for a fact Bosingwa is back in training, and in terms of their recoveries, Deco, Essien and Zhirkov should all be back by the time we play Inter.

Terminator, if you are not happy with the system being re-introduced, I'm afraid you'll have to lump it. It would appear to me your greatest concern is people giving you negative points for no reason. If this becomes the case it will be looked into. We're hoping people will be adult with the system and not abuse it, but this works both ways - you need to be adult and stop concerning yourself with it.

Carlos Tevez scored twice as Manchester City became the first team to beat Chelsea at home in 16 months. The Argentine scored a stoppage time equaliser at the end of the first half for Roberto Mancini's side after a catalogue of errors from the hosts, only moments after Frank Lampard had given the Blues the lead. But City started the second period with menace and it was little surprise when Craig Bellamy gave them the lead thanks to a fine run and finish beyond Henrique Hilario. Substitute Juliano Belletti then hauled down Gareth Barry inside the penalty area to give City the opportunity to increase the lead. Tevez effortlessly dispatched beyond Hilario whilst Belletti was given a straight red card. And the Brazilian was soon followed down the tunnel by Michael Ballack, who picked up a second yellow card for an aggressive tackle on City's diminutive Argentine, but Bellamy put the icing on the cake with City's fourth goal after ex-Chelsea man Shaun Wright-Phillips had been played in by Tevez. Lampard pulled a late consolation back for Chelsea for his fifteenth goal of the campaign after Barry had brought down Nicolas Anelka inside the area - but that was scant reward for a Chelsea side whose lead at the top of the table is reduced to a mere point, with a visit to Old Trafford looming ever closer. There will be serious questions asked of Chelsea after another below-par performance and more lacklustre defending. Under-fire captain John Terry was again partly at fault for allowing Tevez to roll home the equaliser, but besides perhaps goalscorer Lampard and the faultless endeavour of Nicolas Anelka, no Chelsea player can seek to take positives from the match. And they could have gone in ahead at the break had Joleon Lescott converted a free header from just six yards out - Chelsea were living dangerously. Lampard and Anelka both had chances to give Chelsea the lead again as the second half began, but as the Chelsea attack broke down, Mikel found himself isolated against Bellamy marauding down the left flank. The Welshman did not disappoint with his finish; low and across the goalkeeper, but questions must be asked of Hilario, who simply should not have been beaten from such a tight angle. Only a last-gasp clearance by Branislav Ivanovic prevented City from increasing the lead any further - and there were was indication that their relentless pressure would cease. Ancelotti's side were becoming desperate and he responded with three quick fire substitutions. The Chelsea manager's decision was met with boos as Joe Cole was withdrawn. Having set up the earlier goal for Lampard, Cole was enjoying his best game for Chelsea for some time, and his replacement Daniel Sturridge instead only frustrated by making a number of wrong decisions when well-placed in the City half. And another of Ancelotti's substitutes - Belletti - lasted only fifteen minutes as he was dismissed for a foul on Barry inside the box. One lethally-dispatched penalty later, City had a healthy lead and Chelsea's problems did not look like ending. Ballack saw a second yellow and Bellamy slotted home a second to confirm a magnificent result for City - their first league double over Chelsea for over fifth years. Lampard's late consolation penalty came after a late surge by the nine remaining Chelsea players - Anelka had been foiled by a superb reflex stop by Given whilst Drogba had shot tamely wide on two occasions. But Barry's hack on Anelka gave Lampard the chance to add a speck of credibility to the scoreline, but it was a weak performance by a lacklustre Chelsea side that barely deserved the scant consolation the penalty would prove to be. The Chelsea number 8 comfortably stroked the ball home to partly amend for his costly miss in the reverse fixture where Given had denied him the opportunity to score Chelsea's second on that particular night, but the damage had been done. Manchester United sit just one point behind Chelsea, and can go top next weekend due to the Blues being in cup action.
