With a few technical strikers in last 11 months of their existing deals I personally think someone like Benz or Dzeko would be ideal for us to dominate in PL and Europe .. we somehow though need to get rid of Mikel/ and or Torres to pull off one of these deals.. Both those strikers have contracts expiring in 2015 why not cheeky big we have the money to pull it off

He is a top keeper but also has only 1 yr remaining on his current deal so they have to be in the market for a top keeper as well I Wouldn't be surprised if they don't come looking for Cech

I disagree with the last part you wrote citing the Wycombe game as indication of how our first team full backs will be playing and also how we played last year as Iva the main attacking full back.. We didn't bomb both players forward always kept a back 3 and sometimes 4 with one of holding mid players dropping in for cover... For the first goal we scored in preseason Piazon had tucked inside allowing Romeu to play a ball over the top into channel for Ake the FB to run on to.. I think we will see a more attacking style but we brought in players who also don't neglect the defensive side of play to keep our defense strong..

Disagree cause none of the player you mentioned have his ability to win back possession as well as Oscar in advanced positions like he does. Which again maybe Oscar strongest trait as well as tactical awareness but playing those players in the position Oscar plays leaves us vulnerable down the middle and that is part of the reason Jose chooses to play a hard work AM in there like Oscar or Willian rather than Hazard or Mata

Out off all current AM that are to be called WC atm Messi, Ronaldo , Ribery or Robben none them bar Messi was consistent at a younger age. Robben found his in Munich Ribery too Ronaldo took 3 years in the EPL before he began to show true WC ability. I don't understand why we have such a short fuse for young players but complain we don't give them a shot. Modern day football is too fickle when in the past young players would be given time to fight out of the funk now its what have you done for me lately if it isn't anything of note then "sell him" or "he is overrated".. We as fans want our players to be loyal to us but we can't give them the same respect because there is always another player who will come and replace them.

I agree with both of these statements but my point is that everyone focuses on this #10 Role Bayern and Madrid create from deep with their WC CMs and have oustanding wing players with good CAM with good vision but even in that those players grew into that role and our older than our own Oscar. Even the best CAMs in the world have consistency issues Ozil for example came and had Arsenal looking like serious contenders until he got injured then went missing .. Oscar does need to put more into the offensive side of his game I am not disputing that because someone in a central role advanced positions should have more output on our final attack and I believe he will get there now with more creativity in the team and a striker who won't not put the ball in the net. Oscar thrives on fluidity and the rigidness of is tactical instructions made the parts of his game that we enjoyed last year and beginning of the season this year disappear.

Why everyone keeps putting so much weight on the #10 I don't get.. when it is clear to me when watching us play the guy who is given the responsibility to create our attacks is Eden Hazard has been from the beginning of the season. Arsenal play with Ozil as #10 and he doesn't play behind striker .. Oscar position behind the striker in our set up anyway is a more tactical approach because what he can off both offensively and defensively. Hence why when he was dropped it wasn't just a simple fix to play Hazard centrally Mou chose to play Willian there instead. Oscar needs to do better, if this forum is any indication of Chelsea fans on a whole he will be sold because he is not "good enough" .. Something I disagree with because Oscar main problem is his consistency and always would be for a 22 year old. Messi and Ronaldo, Robben or Ribery were not consistent at 22 either and back then showed flashes but faith from supporters and manager allowed them to mature and turn into the best players in world football. Yes at a club like Chelsea we have title aspirations but so do all the teams those players play for and still were given time. Get off the kids back and get behind him. This go equally for Hazard too young kid poor WC and some are doubting his commitment to be a top player . When these players find their consistency I'd rather they be Chelsea players than playing against us.
