this is very true but if he can play like he did for spain in that game for the majority of the season he will have a very successful year for chelsea

I would agree with you there but the only thing i disagree with in your assesment of the formation is that the top three in the 4-3-3 are not stagnant it is free form so there will be plenty of oppurtunities for sturridge to get central as well as torres or even mata at times...i think this could benefit us greatly i can see us scoring alot more open play goals with these three upfront

i think torres will benefit from mata and sturridge greatly..so i won't judge him as yet the next few games should give us a glimpse of the torres we as chelsea supporters are longing for..

AVB does not say a wrong thing he never gives the press too much to run with.. and he defends the players which is a really good sign..im seeing big things for chelsea if roman doesn't give him the axe

agreed look at gameweek 2 in his one game for liverpool he had an assist on the suarez tap in..he gets in good positions and liverpool was foolish to let him go

i agree with everything said in this post hopefully though if he does play lamps meireles comes on as a fair early sub maybe 65-70 minute if things have not changed

he deserves the start and i think AVB was watching his performance with the national team.. from the highlight packages and the games i have watched personally he is gonna be the difference maker for us this season

i think you have the right idea on the formation just the personnel needs a little tweak...i dunno everyone saying mikel not the guy i say against sunderland we give romeu a shot he has impressed me in what i have seen of him in u21 play good on the ball as well as in the air

This so so true and look what berbatov has done the last two seasons at Man U some 5 and 4 goal games as well sharing golden boot with tevez last season...Torres just needs the right ink up play, people seem to forget hes not drogba he will not beast his way into the box he is a finesse finisher

not to say cech is a saint but over the last few seaons including our recent championship season cech was was the reason we even had a chance point blank saves and all..that being said hilario should pay this weekend but that should be his last game for a little while

i agree no need to rush him but with the way hilario gave up that goal against norwich and sunderland proving over the last few seasons they are not a team thats just going to get walked all over..i'd much rather have cech in net as much as possible

i just like the idea of him linking up with torres again they looked very good together last season before torres switch to us..added in with mata and sturridge and things are looking way up at the bridge... Quality player i think great signing for us going forward
