What game was that cause I saw Arda Turan tracking back kicking the piss out of Hazard and Koke tracking back on Willian.. Listen I get it there was a lot of knee jerk reactions after the game about Hazard and I get why it seems easiest to just write off what happened in the match tactically but face it Atlético wide players did their job the whole match the only time we got loose on the flank was for the goal we scored.. And for the record I didn't say modern football asks most creative player to defend overlap I said modern football asks players to play two ways... When a player becomes bigger then the team that's when we have an issue... And if you watched that match again you would see what I was talking about but I doubt that you will

Sorry, Eden has been great for us this year but on those two goals he fell asleep.. The player who crossed the ball back into the box was his man to mark.. And if you don't believe that look at JT reaction after the third goal went in... Eden is still a brilliant player I don't think anyone is disputing that but modern football has changed you have to be more of a two way player look at how Dortmund or even Atlético AMs played they got back right into their own box to try and harass our players... Why is their commitment any different then what Hazard should be doing Still not blaming him for the goals because even if he loses his man we should have more than enough experience to deal with second ball.. And his cover in the centre let him down.. Goals 1&3 could have been avoided with a little more concentration from everyone that was involved Hazard JT GC Azpi and Cole

Carefree... We just didn't have it to was hopeful after the Torres goal but we gave ourselves to much to do by not scoring in Madrid.. Next year we will be back and I feel we'll make it to the finals

I agree the whole team defending was very poor.. Not to put it all on him I will leave that to match sharpness.. It's alright didn't expect us to win this year with the strike force we have but I expected a better showing at the bridge

We had Mata arguably the leagues best #10 and we finished 6th and 3rd and we're no where near winning the Premier League.. Oscar gives us balance and while his playmaking abilities are inconsistent they are getting better.. Still only 22 and most AM you are looking to replace him with have 2-3 years age difference and when they were Oscars age you barely heard about them... Patience is key with young Oscar but everyone has this Fifa /FM idea that if you put world's best in form players on a team you will win real life doesn't work that way unfortunately

I called Schurrle to start at striker or in 3 behind as like I said there will be a gap for him to exploit between Jallet and Alex... If we can get Oscar and Hazard on the ball early enough he may be very effective

If we are going to win our striker will need to make runs in that left channel between Alex and Kallen that seems to be the weak point in their back four.. Someone like Andre would be perfect to execute these type of movements.. Either start Andre up top or definitely in the 3 behind the striker LW with Hazard central and willian on the RW
