I actually don’t want Sesko either to be honest was just giving prices. My ideal striker for us is someone like Lois Openda , Jonathan David, Victor Boniface(injured until April it seems), Joshua Kirkzee. Highly technical strong and good finishers.

Not really Jonathan David has one year left in his contract in June 2025. Kirkzee will go for around €60-€65m. Sesko price will be around €43m. And we know how difficult Napoli is to negotiate with and our board doesn’t like just paying the fee they’ll try and haggle.

If you go back I was also not in favour of purchasing Caicedo, and it is not just the transfer fee it is more of a style thing we don't play with lots of crosses into the box. The style we are trying to play from what I can see is more low balls into the box with wide runners.

He’s playing too far forward he’d probably be more impactful in the box to box 8 role where he can shoot from distance and arrive late to the box. He’s not a 10 at all.

They really may be selling Conor in January - recalling him before the year is up when Leicester have injuries and players away at AFCON. Although I did see they are trying to bring in Sensi for their midfield. So maybe we saw his minutes were going to go down so decided to bring him back and loan him elsewhere. Also it seems Ugo injury is worse than they thought hence why we haven’t heard anything on a loan for Santos since his recall they both could end up staying with the squad.
