Have to admit Howard Webb played a blinder today.. for United. I wasn't sure we'd get 3 goals against United, some people think we got lucky, clearly not. Luiz's header was goal bound anyway and as was stated above their Malouda would of scored from Danny's cross. Mata's goal was unstoppable as well.... My increasing hatred for Danny Welbeck is unreal. He basically kicked Ivanovic's shin and then fell over and won a penalty. Have to admit at times we were second best but the back four played reasonably well until that last goal and I still can't believe De Gea pulled of that save from Mata's freekick, was unreal, the free kick was going in the postage stamp basically. Unbeaten in 2012 still but we could have closed the gap on Spurs with them playing Liverpool.

Looks like we have tried to set up a scouting system in the club now like the one at Porto which AVB is more than common with.

Knew AVB would go back for him, talented kid, good to see AVB is looking out for the future as well but I think KDB will have an impact next season if he is played

We should wrap this signing up and sign Douglas Costa from Shakhtar as well both quality players

See us edging this one 3-0 with Sturridge getting two goals if hes fit and Ramires with one if he starts, can see Torres being lively but I'm not sure if he will score.

Even though JT is our club captain I think AVB has to experiment and play Cahill and Ivanovic together as center backs with Luiz right back (possibly) and Cole left back. JT is a legend for Chelsea but he has been caught out a few times this season so possibly resting him more could see that back four I mentioned above flourish together but we'll never know. Cahill and JT have looked solid together for England as well so I'd be happy to see both pairings tried

Yeah thats the only downside about the article I think Hazard would probably move to Chelsea to link up with Lukaku and Courtious in the future even De Bruyne supposing their all Belgian. So I'm going to hope!

Yeah hope that is true tbh ! Hazard is going to be a international superstar in the next few years, he needs to join a big club

AVB didn't make the right subs in my opinion, Essien should of came on but for Meireles. We were pushing for a second goal so why wasn't Sturridge or even Lukaku put on? How is Lukaku even going to get better if he is rotting on our bench? Bringing Malouda on as well.. for like 10 minutes is pointless or even bringing him on full stop is pointless. I'm always going to support the manager of this club but he didn't make the right tactical changes in my opinion

Played great today, just a pity he hit the bar with that overhead kick. The midfield didn't really help him in anyway the service was poor today

If De Bruyne arrives I dont think he will be loaned out tbh, well I hope not haha

You mentioned that signing a player who would have an impact straight away would rule out De Bruyne.. realistically De Bruyne would be able to contribute a great deal to the first team if he played instantly. He is deadly from set pieces, can cross quite well, sees defense splitting passes and has great pace and trickery, so if we shift Mata to the midfield and play De Bruyne on the left wing, we will create more chances in the middle of the park due to Mata playing there and I reckon De Bruyne would be able to contribute a great deal on the left with his eye for goal and crossing.

This game will be one of the hardest this year, Sunderland have been excellent under O'Neill and I think they will set out to try capitalize on any weaknesses so we will have to play very well to beat them ! I hope Sturridge is fit and Ramires must play !

He isn't a kid or a prospect, he is 26. Still a good player but we wont get him since he only moved in the summer.

AVB has to give him some game time, may not have looked great in the Carling Cup but hes talented thats for sure.
