He was very good commanding his area tonight, coming for crosses etc. Also made a few decent saves as well! I remember against Celtic a while ago in the Europa League where he pulled off a wonder save from Ki Sung Yungs free kick as well, was one of the best saves I'd seen from him. He has had a very very successful year in Spain and in the Europa League but I reckon he needs to go to England now for a year... what about Fulham? Dembele is there, Schwartzer is like 40 and getting on AND we could try put Lukaku on loan there as well as a sweetener. Martin Jol seems to be trying to build a side where he is giving youth a chance so why not? would be great for all parties imo.

I don't think we will see him and Drogba in the same line up simply because one, Jose once said Drogba eats up the competition and two, we aren't Stoke City!

Despite what some others have said about him tonight for the time he got he played quite well. Fuck the haters.

Hard to single out any positive performances tonight except Bertrand's maybe, most of the team were poor. The defense was a shambles especially JT and Branna. I think RDM's team choice tonight was terrible, we were meant to be fresh but we looked nothing of the sort after Liverpool scored. Now we can let the youngsters play against Blackburn at least, Lukaku showed bits and pieces but nothing major except for that header which he should of scored (if it was Torres who had headed it and missed half the Chelsea fans wouldn't be on his case) but I think people should cut Romelu some slack as he hasn't had a lot of games anyway. He will improve with games, same with Romeu who had his worst performance in a Chelsea shirt tonight by far, just the fact he hadn't played for a while as well. Plus what was that referee doing? Shelvey and Suarez should of been sent off along with Ivanovic who tried to elbow Andy Carroll on purpose by the looks of things. Hopefully we ask the FA to investigate the Suarez grapple thing and he gets banned again cause hes a complete and utter fucking cunto.

First of all he didn't cost 18 million he cost like 12-13 million that will rise to 18 million depending on appearances and goals etc which he hasn't got yet and secondly he was bought for the long term as well not the short term which that idiot who wrote the article seems to think. Why do people try and say Lukaku has failed already when he has like what nearly another 15-20 years a head of him? Also with Kevin De Bruyne being at the club I can see them forming a lethal understanding resulting in many goals in the future, if they get their chance.
