TBH nobody in the prem will land Eriksen, he has already said he would prefer to be playing in Spain/Italy, we should of signed him as a 15 year old instead of rejecting him for being too small as it is clearly going to bite us in a few years when he is one of the best players about.

We have 3 young defenders that are yet to have been proven in the premier league, so are they as much a risk as some of yous claim this Chilean is? Also Liverpool just pinched one of the best center back prospects around and he is from South America so who's to say he isn't another decent young defender .. so if the reports are right I'd happily have this guy!

What would be the point in signin Cavani, he is a good player yes but do you honestly think he could score 30 goals a season in the premier league even though it looks like he has just started becoming a prolific striker over the last 2 years? No we are better off with Torres and Lukaku because torres is a proven premier league striker and in form is as good as anybody(just he needs to find form again) and Lukaku is much younger than Cavani and will prove to be a good signing in the future when he has completed more minutes and adapted to English football!

hope he doesn't go out on loan, with drogba and kalou away at the ACON, he will be included more frequently in the team, even getting more minutes from the bench so he can show people what he is all about.

If we defend well, dominate possesion and play Sturridge - Lukaku - Mata upfront but I cant see AVB throwing Lukaku in there sadly.. probably be Torres but except from his performance last night he has been poor so far this season

Tbh in all fairness Sturridge is not a winger so why would we play him out of position, wasting his ability, when at Bolton he was clearly more effective down the middle,

Lukaku looked good today maybe he was hesitant sometimes but you've got to remember he is only 18, looked a brilliant player in Belgium and can only get better at the Bridge

Mata is a breath of fresh air compared to Malouda, we just need another creative player to take Lampards place, who was dire today, and we will start to play better.

Lets be honest, so far AVB hasn't exactly had the easiest times but the philosophy he is trying to lay down is better in less physical leagues like La Liga and Seria were ball manipulation is used more ahead of physical strength and even though we haven't played great we've managed a win today. If you look at Man Utd last year, they won the league as they were able to grind out results against the lower teams that were holding them/beating them, we are going to have to be able to do the same to mount a title challenge and today we managed to grind out a decent result. Also, it is too early for AVB to be judged and imo he is a top manager, I don't think Rom would splash out £13.5 mil to take in a completely average manager, even though he is rich it just seems stupid.

Mikel has looked good this season, even though his father has been kidnapped he has shown great mental strength and got on with it and put in two good shifts. He has changed from the undisciplined player he once was picking up a yellow card every game and developed into one of the finest holding players in Europe, I hope he continues to play through out the season and not pick up any injuries to halter his progress

Strange how no British newspapers have reported that we have had a offer accepted or are in negotiations with Valencia, anyone else reckon this could be another rumor even though we need someone like Mata to provide width in the team and maybe to spark Torres previous form.
