Scotland has public transport, we are not a third world country, I mean I thought you might of gotten that seeing some of the fat Scots who are/were constantly on TV like Susan Boyle and the guy who plays Buster the wrestler in River City. The only problem with public transport in Scotland is you don't know what angle you could be raped from by an aging junkie equipped with a gammy leg and a prosthetic penis. Fuck... that would make a good CSI episode wouldn't it.

Then we can pick min.... na too far Ryan you cunt. See what you've done now mate? I look like a right dodgy cunt. Na wouldn't mind driving man save me having to fucking get up earlier than normal for lifts and that.
-
Haha na poor Harry, mans passed his driving test and I'm accusing him of going to pick minors up...

Well for a start I've already said Willian is better than him and good enough right now for us until the summer. If we lose Salah and Cuadrado comes in to be a player who comes off the bench then fine but to start ahead of Willian, don't see the point. Look you and many others can say Reus isn't coming to Chelsea but who knows? Also if he goes to Bayern or Real then someone has to go at one of those teams (Muller, Bale, Rodriguez, Ribery, Robben), thats why we should wait to summer, see where hes going then wherever he goes there will be someone who leaves because they feel that they won't get game time like Di Maria like Ozil the last 2 summers.
-
Sorted it mate.
-
Lol there are lots of players better than Cuadrado... its worth waiting to the summer because Willian does so much for the team and taking him out could be a stupid move unless its a major improvement on him like Hazard was on Malouda/Kalou. We missed a trick with Sanchez in the summer though, really did.

After us signing Hazard when it seemed he was going to either Manchester United or Manchester City, I don't think its impossible to not sign anybody except Messi or Ronaldo. I'd prefer we spent 40M on the right player as opposed to 30M on a player we are only wanting because Schurrle/Salah are being sold.

Which Players Do You Regret Chelsea Selling?
OneMoSalah replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
If he does indeed go to Dortmund/Wolfsburg then Andre Schurrle will be part of the list I feel. -
Being flashy doesn't mean you look better than you are. Hazard is hardly flashy either, Quaresma was flashy, Nani flashy at times, Cristiano Ronaldo when he was younger but Hazard isn't exactly flashy. Football is simple, everyone appreciates players who can do something simple that's effective and especially at this club when we had Makelele in that holding role, he was loved because of the simple nature and effectiveness of his game. Busquets is another one I like to watch because of the simpleness in his game and also the effectiveness. Oscar does simple things but he can do so much more as I've said in other posts. Its nothing to do with him not doing as much tricks or skills either lol its stuff like influencing the play or being a constant threat in the game or taking it by the scruff of the neck. Players like Eriksen, Barkley, Silva all number 10's in various other teams you see them doing this time and time again and think Oscar should be doing that. Great players dominate games, Oscar can be a great player yes but if hes not consistent enough or say shys away from the game at times he won't dominate games.

Regarding Schurrle's shooting: He who is afraid to throw the dice never rolls a six. Also considering hes an inverted winger usually, it makes sense as to why he shoots so often as he prefers to come inside given the opportunity. Cuadrado has scored 4 goals in Serie A... hes hardly a goal scorer is he. Schurrle has a knack of scoring goals starting or not starting (City last year, City this year, Stoke, PSG, Arsenal, Fulham x3, Swansea, Burnley). Also according to who scored this season Cuadrado has played more as a number 10, appearing there 10 times with 4 goals so I ask is he really gonna be that much better than Willian on the right in goals and assists or in fact better than Schurrle? I doubt it very much. Signing a player whos on course to have his best stats so far in his career have come centrally to play wide sounds like Willian all over again, for another stupid inflated price, despite being an inferior player to him too. For all his lack of final ball and goals what Willian does is essential. http://www.whoscored.com/Players/44868/ Also they mention holding onto the ball as a weakness, which was also Mata's problem playing on the wing, he wasn't so good under pressure where as Hazard, Willian and Oscar are... If we want a winger we should go for someone who is a step above what we have, not similar level or worse. Reus, Griezmann, Turan, Koke, all players who are much better than Willian and probably would be at a similar price if clubs were convinced to sell them.
-
Costa is even worse than Schurrle so I doubt that will happen. Would be stupid.
-
Well done mate, you just need the yellow fiat punto like Simon out of the inbetweeners now.
-
So Schurrle stays then if Salah goes on loan to Fiorentina... interesting.
-
What a ball in for Branna though, people talk about his lack of end product/a final pass but that ball in from the set piece was a beauty.
-
I think we should go for someone else. Weren't Atletico not interested in Schurrle after the World Cup? Give them Schurrle and £££ for Turan or Griezmann....
-
At least Schurrle stuck around and gave it a go and actually did well in some games (SuperCup v Bayern, Bucharest, PSG, Fulham, Stoke.. games he scored or assisted and in general played well). De Bruyne was out of here in 6 months into his first season after a piss poor performance against some crappy League 1 team before being demoted to train with the reserves instead of going to Bucharest because Mourinho wasn't happy with his effort and performances. Its nice to play at a small club and score goals where your comfortable and don't have to push yourself for anything but its even nicer to play at a top club, to get in the team and win titles.
-
'Mourinho is pushing a lot on the property' Got to love the property transfer market, can't wait for deadline day, what a time to be alive. This is really happening though isn't it? Fuck sake.

Great comment. City game last year at the Etihad (I think it was the Etihad because we were the first team to beat them there all season), which was a massive game, Ramires started ahead of Oscar and was brilliant with Luiz and Matic in a 3 man midfield. Anyway anyone using the excuse that Oscar doesn't look as good as Hazard because he isn't flashy is quite frankly a moron. What a stupid thing to say. Hazards consistency and end ball is miles ahead of Oscar's as well as the fact he takes the game to the opposition most times whenever he can.
-
I'm gonna be a bastard here and use the bit in your bio about stats hiding the most important thing which is he isn't anywhere near consistent enough (despite having scored or assisted 8 in the last 9 games which is probably a first for him) or dominate games for large periods. He can be a world class player for both Brazil and Chelsea but he has brief moments in games where he looks like he will do something/he does something and seems to fade out of it or he just isn't there from minute 1 to minute 90 whatever. It was the same with Hazard last year, people on here (myself included) wasn't just happy that he was scoring one goal or assisting one when you consider his ability and his potential to be a constant threat and perform highly through out a whole match and it is still the same with Oscar, he can do much more. Hazard has been doing it this season, playing very well, even if he doesn't score hes having a major influence, making numerous key passes or numerous dribbles and Oscar can be the same even if he isn't the same style of player as Hazard. Its not that he doesn't make key passes or dribbles etc as well, its just sometimes you see him in a game and think go on look at the space you have get the ball make something happen. Scoring a goal or assisting isn't always everything, how are players meant to be analysed or improve if everyone just goes on about they scored a goal or assisted a goal or scored and assisted so many in so many games. All I along with everyone else here want Oscar to fulfill his vast vast potential, which he will only do performing at his best consistently and improving the other facets of his game which aren't as good. Nobody has an agenda against him here for christ sake, which you would think reading your post and this isn't the first time I've seen you get all defensive when Oscar is mentioned despite his inconsistency being a major discussion point in this thread to the extent where other members have wanted him replaced (yeah...).
-
Tbh Simeone has done well to get some sort of reasonable performances out of him. Also hes scored 3 goals with his only 3 shots on target for Atletico, or that's what was doing the rounds on twitter...
-
Waiting to hear about more work, fuck life. Pay day is also too far away, fuck life x2.

Dortmund have huge revenues, think how much money they make every home game and have been doing so for years and years along with the sales of players and how they manage to get replacements fairly cheap for some players. Also the fact they are struggling, they need to strengthen surely or they will go down so they will have enough funds available.
-
Still disappointed with his progression. He lets games pass him by too easily, lets say in comparison look at the difference in Christian Eriksen at Spurs last season to this season. I was reading a Sqwuaka article, hes averaging more touches of the ball per game, more passes, more dribbles, more key passes, more shots, more tackles and in general just influencing and deciding games more than last season and you can see an improvement. Oscar on the other hand, he doesn't look to me as if hes becoming more decisive or influential in the team. Sure we play with more percentage of possession and he surely has more touches of the ball etc but hes hardly influencing games as much as he should be being Chelsea's #10, is he? Its not the first time this has been mentioned either, we will throw Schurrle or Salah under the bus if they play poor despite not being a regulars but seem to object to criticizing Oscar when he hasn't progressed very much since the first 4 or 5 months of last season and has been playing in at least 85% of the games under Mourinho since he returned.
-
Hes been very inconsistent at Fiorentina though. Not worth the fee we're meant to be paying.
-
Lol the amount of people saying Cesc won't be as big a miss as Costa for this game.. christ.. Cesc is the best MF player in the PL atm in my eyes, hes gonna be a fucking huge miss if he doesn't play. How many people can play a killer pass like him with the right weight and at the correct time like vs Arsenal, Burnley, Maribor, Swansea etc? Hes a bigger miss than Costa in my eyes because Remy and Drogba can still cause a lot of problems. Ramires, Mikel, Matic and Oscar can't provide that same quality Cesc can with a final pass which could decide a game like this to be honest although they bring other things to the table.
