Nothing to do with respecting Lampard or the job he did last season or whatever. Just its monotonous to log on look in a thread and see the same drivel basically. When theres more relevant/more recent things related to the games or Tuchel we could be talking about. Must be about the 283747th variation of how much better is Tuchel than Lampard in a period of about 10 games from the same guy. Not even an ounce of explanations or any analysis just a repetition of a mind numbingly unfunny/uninteresting comments which is obviously an attempt at trying to be witty/a dig to some people, which again I don’t see anyone complaining about Frank’s sacking on here now and haven’t done for the best part of a month. I get there is obviously an intent to wind people up but it goes from a bit of a joke and a laugh at first to consistently looking like a moron on a daily/weekly basis posting this when nobody is hugely interested in Franks sacking now or even disputing Tuchel being better. Kinda feel sorry for the guy that he can’t see that himself 🤣

Yes one fluke season although the next season everytime Luiz played he was piss poor, resorting to his old self, in a back 3. Christensen has had some good games in a back 4 at times, contrary to belief, including in Germany. Not to the same level hes put in under Conte in a 3 and with Tuchel now but still some decent games. That wee run in the end of the season with Sarri including the Europa League final he was good, he didn’t play a lot of PL games but featured throughout the Europa League in 15 games and played well enough. Yet never mentioned. I think he’s taken the stick he got in the Villa game and before and has seriously improved. I think now he seems to be a lot more decisive and tries to be much more dominant in his actions. The physical side of the game has always been his downfall but you see him now winning big headers, not getting bullied, being more physical and ultimately much more confident.

Hope Atletico win. Be cool to see them win La Liga again, Simeone is an unbelievable manager and another La Liga on top of the other trophies hes won there would be another fantastic achievement. A win v Real puts them 8 points ahead of Real and Barca still with a game in hand I think.

We get it. You think Lampard wasnt even an average manager. Thing is, now, most will agree. Clearly, anyone who doubted Tuchel’s appointment has undoubtedly been convinced, even the pro Frank side. Posts are beginning to sound like a broken record, repeatedly dwelling on us sacking Lampard and replacing him with Tuchel. It will more so start to annoy some folk than make them laugh bud. Maybe something more relevant to the time, many agreed the time FL had to go but gets monotonous seeing the same comments or similar ones over and over...

Getting repetitive now but flawless. Again. 3rd big game in a row. At this rate Thiago Silva will not just waltz back in when hes fit.
-
He must not like Tuchel very much maybe 😆 yes we only got one goal and he talks about the little details but in general play, if they played like that the amount of raving from folk about them would be insane. That was a top performance from us for the best part of 70-75 minutes as there was moments we “suffered” as Tuchel put it, which at Anfield against Liverpool you would expect to do at some point. I would say the manner in which we played, is what the absolute top teams must do in big games, just unfortunately we only scored one goal. Not every top team can do what City do and score the 4 goals v Tottenham, Liverpool and whoever else or whatever. But the aspects of the performance was everything you want in a top performance outside of maybe not scoring more than one.

Absolutely fantastic. Again. Just waiting for someone to say he was average though, theres always one 🤣
-
Yep. I am curious what our points total would be if we had someone like Tuchel in earlier or from day 1 of this season. Unrealistic obviously as the circumstances around his appointment was us replacing another manager but someone with clear ideas and a proper way of playing, based on what we’ve seen so far, we would probably be like at least 7-10 points better off I reckon. I know this season isn’t done and dont want to focus on too far ahead but a few players in and a strong finish in these 11 games, next season could be very interesting. I like what I am seeing from us with Tuchel though.
-
Ashley Cole saying Tuchel has the foundations from Franks spell including players and then the style... man oh man.... players right, style though completely wrong. Suppose they’re never going to fully give Tuchel credit for anything this season. Excellent performances from Jorginho, Kante, Christensen and Azpilicueta. Much more half chances/chances created tonight. Goals need to come more but huge signs of improvement.

Excellent move. Werner does everything right. Unlucky. And aye, Chilwells final ball has been piss poor.
-
Get Ziyech off. We are needing up the pitch, punts it back to their GK. Clueless. Hasnt happened for him, put Pulisic or CHO on. Mount has been fantastic his work rate and willingness to take the ball under pressure has been huge for us. Chilwell also making much more of an impression compared to last game.
-
Oft close. Getting there. Unlucky in final third again. Christensen has basically turned into Paulo Maldini what the fuck is going on here 🤣 Mane offside and he still gets back and takes it off him.
-
Perhaps. Maybe could of went for a header also but not sure. Still a big chance, and the sort he has got to start converting at some point in his career if he ever is to be a truly elite striker/attacker.
-
Great decision. What else can he do there? Well done VAR for once 😂
-
🤣 True to a degree but the fact he’s tried to lift it makes me think he could of maybe tried toeing it to either side of Alisson. Why he’s tried to dink him when hes a yard off his line was disappointing decision wise but maybe a sign of him being overconfident?

Going to need a second goal to make it more likely to secure the win as well as backing up how well we have played I think. The performance has been very good, really impressed with Kante and Jorginho in the middle of the pitch, up against a 3 man MF technically and they have strolled it so far I would say. These fuckers will come out the blocks second half I would imagine, so hopefully we can keep looking to play as we have done and get a second goal before 60-65 minutes then pick them off.
-
It would be 2-0 regardless if Werner scored that chance beforehand, which was unfortunate but you’d expect someone playing for a team like us to score that. Offside goal was very tight, need to see it again but undeniably should of been 1-0 before.
-
Yes get the fuck in. Well deserved has been getting into these sort of positions for weeks now just not scoring/assisting.
-
Chilwell lucky there needs to be tighter to Alexander-Arnold everyone knows given space he will find his team mate with a cross. Christensen doing well a few times there. Also, Werner and Ziyech complaining about a foul and standing with their arms in the air forgetting the games going on, play to the whistle this isnt Holland or Germany... stream must be behind everyone else’s 🤣
-
Get in. Should be his second goal though. What a ball from Jorginho also. “Never passes forward/never creative” Alisson horrendous again though 😂 Never mind wow fuck sake
-
Another big chance for Werner, loves a big miss
-
Looks a bit more cautious with no Hudson-Odoi at RWB and also Werner through the middle as opposed to Giroud with Werner on his left in the line up is different. And am a bit surprised Ziyech is still in the team. No Kovacic is another one that is a bit surprising but still a decent line up. Hopefully manage a good performances and result. Few boys out there with a point to prove, particularly Ziyech and Chilwell and also Werner, again, now in a more central role.

For the cash we will want Villa could find a much better player. Lets hope their not smart enough and end up buying him from us. He cost us 15m, if they offer more than 20m we should take it. One of the most overrated and overwhelming English players in the PL at the moment. I mean even some Villa fans are unsure if he is worth trying to buy for the £35m price because he doesn’t win games for them enough.
-
Huge overreaction. Havertz signing is also like signing Hazard. Once in a generational talent. Its up to the manager to then find where to play him. The board don’t pick the starting 11 or where’s best to play them unlike what people seem to keep making out. Also Rudiger and Alonso are performing, as are Jorginho and Kovacic in this last period. Is that their fault that they are playing well? Or that some others in similar positions aren’t? I agree on Tomori but he ended up leaving because Lampard didnt play him and he wanted to play football, what do you expect him to do, particularly at his age? Or Lampard to do if he asks to leave/wants more minutes? Ok good opportunity for him to go on loan “na your staying to sit on the bench/not even make the squad as you have done the majority of this season”. The manager picks the team not the board. Lamptey wanted to leave regardless as he wanted to progress his career while playing and he plays in a position where the clubs captain is and Reece James also plays, who is a better player also. I swear some people just moan for the fucking sake of it 😂
-
Exactly. People are freaking out over nothing. Yes he could of went on loan but I think he will get minutes with Tuchel. Games v Liverpool, Everton, Leeds and Atletico Madrid are coming up in the space of 2 weeks and with Mount and Jorginho out of the Atletico game, Tuchel will perhaps try and manage Kante, Kovacic and Jorginho’s minutes as undoubtedly Kovacic and Kante will play v Atletico from the beginning due to Jorginho’s suspension. So we hopefully will see more of Billy. Also out of the guys Lampard gave debuts to/more prominent roles in the team to, how many were 18/19? Tammy, Reece, Mason and Fikayo weren’t IIRC. Would be panicking more if he was in Abraham’s position or Ruben’s, being 23 or over and missing match day squads or being loaned out at 24 or 25.
