  1. This. I hope I'm proved wrong, but there was no need to take this 'bold' risk. Why change what has been working great?
  2. Hart, Zabaleta, Richards, K. Toure, Clichy, Y. Toure, de Jong, Silva, Nasri, Balotelli, Aguero SUBS: Pantilimon, Savic, Kolarov, Milner, Barry, Dzeko, Tevez
  3. Here's Vucinic's winner: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CplYX2djRK4
  4. Before every chelsea match, I always turn on the TV and kick everyone out of the living room.
  5. I predict the next chelsea legendary striker will be:
  6. But how many of the scotish teams would actually make it to the PL?
  7. ^^ Some terrible defending by Juve as well. Milan don't deserve to back in it, but Juve always have trouble finishing games off this season. EDIT: Oh my world! What a screamer by Vucinic!
  8. He is happy to sit on the bench for the vast majority of the season and puts in 100% effort every time he's on the pitch. I'm not complaining...
  9. Third year Electrical Engineering. It's not exactly 'exciting', but is something I really like. I used to work at a store but now I barely have time for my studies...and Chelsea of course!
  10. Anyone know when Roberto said those quotes? I can't find any 'reliable' source confirming them.
  11. ^^ Or pass them to oblivion like Swansea did.
  12. He's started speaking! Wonderful news. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2117238/Fabrice-Muamba-starts-speaking-hospital.html
  13. Doesn't that mean that the best you're hoping for is actually a win?!
  14. I thought Iva did rather well at the back, while Rayn obviously had orders to venture forward more than usual. Bosingwa......did as badly as I had expected him to do defensively.
  15. No I agree. What you are saying is 100% true. If he learns to cross and play the smart pass he will be a force to reckoned with in the PL. I'm sorry; I know I quoted your post, but my remark was aimed at somewhere else...the amount of abuse he got yesterday in the match thread was unreasonable and plain unfair.
  16. Don't get me wrong, I too get frustrated with Danial sometimes, but I think that few have the skills and pure talent that he has to create most of those chances that he squanders. I am not, by any means justifying his selfishness, but I do think that we need to appreciate a bit more what we got. Danial does not deserve this harsh bashing he got yesterday in the match thread.
  17. That's actually not a half-bad argument. Tomo, you're one of the best posters on the forum. We NEED you here!
  18. Of course, there is no denying that. I was merely commenting on the style of saves that Petr often makes by being in the perfect position, as opposed to van der sar's full-stretch slow motion saves he seemed to make for the simplest of shots. Totally agree. I would even add that he has been the most consistent in the back for us this season.
  19. It will be an interesting test for RDM's tactics. So far, for the four games he had managed, we were all out attacking whilst we will have to defend and attempt to keep possession against City. (As Bir_h rightly said: Valencia style)
  20. The Leeds doctor who ran to Fabrice Muamba’s aid http://www.yorkshire...-aid-1-4362550# If When Muamba pulls through, it will have a lot to do with this man great effort. Fortunate that he was on the scene and quick to react.
  21. Great that he got his first goal for Chelsea, he has been very unlucky not to get in previous game. But overall it was his worst display for Chelsea defensively. Excusable since his mind was with Fbarice probably.
  22. I agree, that shot was impossible. And let's not forget that amazing save he made in the first half. Cech, imo, is the type of keeper who is smart enough to do a lot in a game and make it look easy, unlike Van Dersar, for example, who made every simple save look dramatic.
