Exactly. He's an old-fashioned poacher; an excellent one at that but still just a poacher. He can't create, defend, or set up people. I'd take a Drogba type of striker over him every day of the week.

Yeah, it wasn't a criticism for Falcao himself but rather the system Madrid adapt that relies so much on him.

Tbf speed and defensive ability is expected of Ramires. However, the double pivot has yet to be put under pressure while he's playing and that is mainly due to RDM playing the three maestros in front of it. I still don't believe he can survive there against teams that apply high pressure simple because he can't keep the ball.

@, Amen I'd also add, having watched much of Madrid's matches last season, that the team rarely scored against teams that packed the box with defenders because that practically nullified Falcao's influence. While only a few teams do that in La Liga, most teams here in the PL apply that tactic against us.
