Forget the goal, that sprint... If i did that sprint, it would probably be the last thing I do.

Too early to think about a loan imo. He's playing with U21s despite being just 18 and getting valuable experience from the next gen tournament. No reason to loan him out atm.

I still think AVB did the right thing. Anelka put in a transfer request which means his mind was not 100% with the team anymore.

Those excuses are exactly what I meant by us bending reality to try and convince ourselves that he is not a flop.

The Torres issues have been so devastating for the club and the fans that I often find myself thinking, after one decent performance like the one at Arsenal, that he will come good. I think we sometimes want him to succeed so bad that we sometimes overlook the obvious facts: He has been here for almost 2 years, he has already flopped.

I've been dying to see how Romeu performs next to Mikel in the double pivot.

I remember RDM saying that he still isn't 100% match fit. There is no need to risk him. And why don't we wait to actually see him play for us in the PL before deeming him 'not good enough'?

Mikel can't play every single match especially during the schedule congestion in December. It's still early days, Romeu can still play a part in RDM's plans; same for Sturridge.

I think he meant to the ACON.
