He's been off form for the past month actually. I wouldn't make a big deal out of it as this is normal at this age when he's playing his first competitive season. But it is also a good reminder that the expectation of him to go from youth level to world class in 2 seasons are just a fantasy.

I think Kalas will make it here regardless, he's that good, imo. As for Omeru, he's still much younger and will get a chance later if he does not now. So I won't be upset to see Bruma given a chance next season although I honestly don't expect him to stay here for long.

I was slated in the summer for saying that it was a mistake to loan Kevin out. For me, he showed enough in preseason to prove that he is good enough to be in the squad. My point is, if I tell you now, there's a 20yo player in the championship with technical abilities way beyond his age and passing skills better than most of our squad, you'd be saying we should pay 20+m for him, and yet people say that McEachran is not good enough for Chelsea. For me, his development has stalled a bit, but he's still on track. He hasn't under achieved, but the original hopes of Chelsea fans were unrealistic.The same could happen with Nathanial if we're not careful.
