  1. The thing is, it's totally fine if they were arguing with reasons, examples and stats, but the discussions seem to be like: 1) A>>>>B 2) Are you retarded? B is much better than A. 1) You are deluded. A is class, B is overrated. Back on topic, I think this match will be much harder for us because it is the first real test for our players and Arsenal will be full of confidence after their draw with shitty. A win would be vital, though unlikely imho.
  2. Would everyone just cut the crap, I've literally had to delete 2 pages of meaningless or off-topic posts. Any further thread derailment will not be tolerated and will result in warnings and suspensions. Well we can set the rules and try to see them through, but we can't, unfortunately, force people to make intelligent posts.
  3. And we beat those teams and won the CL last year because we were realistic and did not underestimate our opponents. We knew that we were second favorite in most of our matches and that is why we won. Still think this match will be easy? Here's an interesting stat for you: Chelsea last beat Arsenal in a league match without Didier Drogba in September 1995
  4. Had he apologized the FA would take that as a confession and he peobably would have got a longer ban.
  5. Mate this is part of the old warning system that got replaced by this new one a while ago. The warning points system is no longer in use as far as I know; no idea why members can see them all of a sudden.
  6. Very True. I even remember Drogba having a very similar miss against Liverpool in the CL (I think it was in 07)
  7. I prefer Fucking Arseholes, but your call I doubt the appeal would change anything, they already bent their own rules to ban him.
  8. Yes, but I highly doubt the appeal would change the verdict which has obviously been written long before the hearing to so that the FA don't have to admit that they were wrong to give in to the media witch hunt and take JT's armband before he was trialed.
  9. I think his best option is to wait till after the Arsenal match and accept the charge. He would miss Norwich, Tottenham, and utd both in the PL and League Cup. An appeal could see the ban increased, although I highly doubt it, the verdict was obviously arranged well before the hearing started.
  10. Eight?! That's way too much, don't think I ever heard a manager got a longer deal.

  12. http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/NewsAndFeatures/2012/john-terry-hearing-result-september.aspx Make of that what you wish. Not once in my life have I fully understood a text regarding law or court
  13. He has 14 days to appeal, and I think the punishment only starts after that period so he can feature either way.
  14. Four games and 220K fine. Another cowardly decision by the FA, if they think he is guilty then the punishment should be much more, it's obvious they are just trying to cover their fuck up of taking away his arm band when he was innocent.
  15. A Juve win would be a safe bet, imo.
  16. Back on topic boys, no need for these silly insults.
  17. STOP SHOUTING!! I think he is likely to get a start against Arsenal if Lamps is not fit. He showed against stoke that he can defend on the wing as good as Ramires while still providing much much more to the attack. Besides, it's not like Arsenal have the most dangerous full backs in the world
  18. Will be interesting to see if Robbie plays the youngsters again in this one; with our schedule, I think he needs to.
  19. Zola is full of praise for Nathaniel: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8111774/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
  20. Actually he has an ankle injury according to Eddie; he's a doubt for Arsenal.
  21. Yeah not enough power behind it to beat the keeper if he guesses right imo, but the technique is there.
