Very much expected news. He deserves to play in the CL after helping his team reach it and there's no point bringing him back to rot on the bench. None of those will agree to be second choice especially in a WC year (except Sorensen, may be). I'd love Middlesbrough's Steele. Excellent young keeper who, for me, is better than Buttland and without all the hype.

The problem with that is that it is just too narrow. You will have a very difficult time scoring against teams that set up to not lose and just pack the box with defenders like most weaker teams do when they come to the bridge.

Again he has 25 appearances in the Serie A but 4 of them off the bench; 6 in the CL with one off the bench, so 26 starts. He's not really in Milan's plans because they have younger players who are already better than him like Niang and El Shaarawi. Kevin has always been inconsistent and this season has been no different. He's an attacking midfielder who only managed to score more than 5 per season once in his entire career. Even last season, which was the best season in his career, he had some great performances in the CL (which cause all this hype around him) but was largely inconsistent in the league and only managed to score 5 goals. I'd much rather we get Van Ginkel (or God forbid bring De Bruyne back) who has loads more potential to be come better than Kevin and would come in on low wages and more importantly low expectations.

I can literally count on one hand the 'world-class' performances he;s put in as a player. He's incredibly over-hyped for those 4-5 world class performance, especially the ones vs Barca. Yes he's technically weak, meaning he doesn't have great technique in his passing, shooting, tackling..etc .He's so inconsistent that even when fit, he often doesn't make the starting XI of Milan.

I must be watching a different Serie A than you, mate! He's a decent player on his day but is incredibly inconsistent. He relies on his pace bursting forward and his stamina to keep running. But technically and tactically he is very weak. The rumor is just another one of the many BS rumors Palmeri is starting on a daily basis.

Another great performance with the NT for Kevin. He plays so much better with Belgium with all the quality players around him as opposed to Bremen where his teammates often let him down. I still can't for the life of me understand why we are considering loaning him out when we need him in out team next season.
