I'm still not buying the Cavani rumors, so I don't think he's going anywhere.
-
So, what do we do with him? With De Bruyne almost confirmed to be returning, and us looking likely to sign Schurrle, I can't see him getting any game time here next season. I think the best we can do is loan him out and hope he can rediscover him self again.
-
Doesn't he have something like a 1.7m/yr deal here? He's not going anywhere anytime soon.
-
Ah, the transfer window at it's confusing best..
-
Palace won't be a bad move for him at all. He can get regular game time there.
-
From the right hand, yes. From the left, Hazard rarely fails to hit the first defender.

I'm sorry, but you just can't say Moses is not Chelsea quality then go on to defend Marko Marin in the same breath. I was one of the people hyping Marko up, but he just failed to deliver. On the other hand, Victor is a great squad player who, despite having a bad end of season, still managed to score 11 goals for us this season. That's an excellent return for a squad player. The difference between Moses and Marin is that if Victor is having a bad day in attack and things are not clicking for him, he still makes up for it with his work-rate. Unlike Marin, Moses defends superbly well and tracks back all the time. He really give a lot of defensive solidity to the flank he's playing on. That is why he was picked over Marin, because what he brings to the team is much more than what happens when he's on the ball. So, Victor Moses will probably never be regarded as world class, so what? He's young and can only get better, he's homegrown, he's on low wages, and he is the type of player you want sitting on your bench as second/third option. You can have 10 "Messi"s and an Oliver Kahn in your team but you still won't win anything if you don't have squad players and depth in your team.

Thanks Easy. Start using Chrome Firefox is dead and buried in the 'Browsers War'.

Were you going to inform that you made me league admin?

Read he could face up to 6 years in prison if the charges are true.

He said in the press conference that Mikel had returned to training but before the match he was declared unfit by the Chelsea twitter account as Jason has pointed it out. And no, this is not a 'major point'. Even if he was dropped by Benitez, this has almost zero influence on the next season since we are under new management.

I'll finish my exams next Thursday and then I can sleep 24/24

I think it's because I was up till 4 the day before. My sleeping schedule is messed up atm

Yes. You do actually have to watch the football to get to rate it. I feel weird that I have to point that out. African nations have constantly made it to the knockout stages of the WC and beat some footballing giants on the way. On their day, any of the top African NTs van beat any of the top European ones. People like Mikel and Moses play better simply because the system suites them more (PS: how do you know they play better if you never watched it? ) But that accounts for vet little when some of the best players in Europe like Etoo, Drogba, Tata You're...etc have looked like average players in the AFCON. I don't know about "respect" but they certainly have quality football in Africa.

No. No it doesn't make sense. Though it could be because it's 2AM here as well and I've spent the whole day studying
-
He did have some excellent games, especially towards the end of the season, but in some other games he was completely invisible, especially when Mata and Hazard where not on the pitch. I do hope he finds the consistency next season, because technically he has the potential to become a world-class player.

Why am I still up? It's almost 2am and I have an exam tomorrow. Yet I'm not at all tired and can't get any sleep

It's gotten so bad recently with the events in Syria, I was not exaggerating, that is literally all you hear walking down the streets: Politics. It's because all the parties in Lebanon are involved there, atm. It's basically a Lebanese civil war going on in some parts of Syria at times. The effects here is a lot of killings and kidnappings due to political reasons. Not to mention that the areas near the Syrian border are being bombed on a daily basis plus the ongoing battles in Tripoli. It would take days to fully explain what is happening but practically we currently have war here in Lebanon. The west, namely the US, have made huge mistakes by funding and arming the muslim extremists and are now starting to regret but only after it is too late. They've become too powerful and could actually win the war in Syria. That's why the US agreed with Russia a couple of weeks ago that the priority right now is to get rid of those extremist. Of course that involves killing thousands of innocent people, destroying whole cities, not to mention the economy of the entire region and countless other problems. But who cares as long as it's not happening on their land, right? Sorry, that turned out more like another rant than an explanation of what's going on..

Thanks but I already found it and edited my post

What exactly did he say? Do you have a link? All I read was the BS started by Palmeri. EDIT: Found it. He did not say that we made a bid for him. He said we are interested and might call him (to make a bid). Which basically means we just inquired about him. That happens all the times between clubs even for players you're not really going after. And in the same sentence he goes on to say that his agent (and brother) said that he will stay at Napoli.

[rant] Soooo fed up with politics. It is literally everywhere I look and everyone I talk to they're all talking politics all the time. What's sad is that politics in the area are completely out of the hands of not just the people but even the leaders of Lebanon. All they do is make it worse. Want to a 'solution' for the middle east? The only solution is kill every one who lives here, me included, and get new people to come and live here. [/rant]

Think we just rename this to "The Moaning Thread" Ah, teenager 'love'..just like I remember it. Let me give you an advice that you probably won't take Just ignore her. Act like you don't care and she will do anything for your attention. That's how it works with teenage girls..

Can you provide a legit source that we are after Cavani?
-
That's very unfair. Mata should at least get 12! Excellent article, mate and a very good analysis. Maybe a bit too optimistic with the ratings, especially with Oscar..
