And it took Mata a whole season to get used to the PL. Last year he used to completely disappear in physical games and get bullied too easily of the ball and generally went quite in the last 15 mins of every game. Don't think we can give Lucas that kind of chance because we have players who are better than him which was not the case with Mata.

I said Fulham because they have the aging Duff on the left wing and I'm not sure he will be a starter next season. It's the style of the Spanish league that worries me. We don't want him to get too used to it because the PL is completely different. There he gets time and space on the ball he can only dream of here. Even if he spends next season in Spain, he will need a loan to a PL side to get used to the physicality of the league before he can be a regular for us.

The game is in less than two hours. This is also a one-leg tie, right? -
Pellegrini is leaving Malaga at the end of the season and there's no guarantee that he'll get minutes there next season. Besides, I'd much rather he gets PL experience under his belt. Something like a Fulham loan would be perfect.

Starts for Malaga again against Espanyol in about an hour.
-
I remember not wanting us to sign him last season. Boy, was I wrong! I'm sorry Kevin

Well they were breaking the forum rules when they did so. You can speak in any language you wish in the Pub thread or by PM if you want, but I'm afraid you will have to stick to English elsewhere. Only that?! Funny that the exact same thing can be said about Ronaldo (not that I'm saying Bale is as good as the Ronaldo). On any account, Hazard is a completely different player who's in comparable to Bale and Ronaldo. But I'd rather have a team player like Hazard any day over individuals like the other two.

Both you and Radamel are delusional if you think we, or anyone else in the world, will pay that much! That's just laughable I'll repeat what I said in December when everyone was so sure that we will sign in Jan: We will NOT sign Falcao, unless something dramatic happens, simply because we can't afford to and it makes no financial sense to do so. Even if we are going to spen that kind of money (signing fees and wages) I can think of a hundred better ways to do so.

In case you haven't noticed, our results under Benitez this season have been consistently inconsistent and often make no sense at all like winning some really tough games then dropping points at home to the likes of QPR or Southampton. This makes that statement completely justified because we should have the upper hand tomorrow, but there is considerable doubt since we have been dropping points in games we should win on a regular basis under Benitez.

No. This is an English forum.

That is not the whole picture. The way I remember it, Josh had a slight hamstring problem, he returned to the starting XI then was benched for two match (he played the whole second 45 mins in the second) then he returned to the starting line up where he had a fantastic game in a 1-0 win against league leaders, Cardif, then he missed 2 games for illness and today he's back on the bench.
-
Well Chalobah is on the bench today as well and has missed quite a few games for Watford. Shall we disown him as well? The proper way to deal with young players in your squad is to give them rest more than older players because over-working them affects their development and consequently their whole career.
-
On their day, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio are the best midfield in the world. They fit together perfectly. Juve lack creativity in some games simply because the subs are no where near the starting XI and Conte tends to "over-rotate".
-
What a finish!!
-
LOL, how was that outside the box?!
-
Not judging by my love for Juve at all, but Juve have a better defense and more importantly a better midfield while Bayern have better wingers and both teams have a shit attack. I won't go on about it, but you'll see it in the match.
-
LMAO at people underestimating Juve Juve are favorites to go through, they play the perfect style of football to counter Bayern.

This weekend could be pivotal for the top 4. If Swansea manage to get something against Arsenal and we beat West Ham, Arsenal are as good as out of the race.
-
Exactly! We don't even know what formation the next manager is going to play.
-
Like it or not, he is currently the best player to partner Mikel in the pivot and it's been proven time and time again this season. And that's not because Ramis is suited to play in the pivot but because all our other options are just not good enough.
-
The last time he was good going forward was 2010. He just doesn't have the legs he had to bomb up and down the flank for 90 mins nor can he cross like he used to. Still, I think his movement in the attack this season has helped to create space for our Wingers to exploit.
-
Start Torres?! If there is one team you're going to start Ba against, it would be West Ham.
-
It's because the club refused to put the tickets on general sales so they won't be bought by Steaua fans.
-
Well we can't keep him on the bench forever, we need utilize every player we have at our disposal in the next few weeks.
-
I wanted Newcastle. Rubin was probably the worst draw we could've got. The last thing we needed with our schedule is a trip across Europe!
