Not really, because he was moved to his "natural position" 30 minutes before he actually started getting involved. And just for the record, Willian probably spent more time centrally after he came on than Oscar did. And I fail to see how it is any of your business what I call my friend, Barbabra.

Errm, I don't get it? How was he bad? Or at least worse than the rest. JT and Cech were ahead of everyone else, but after that, Luiz was pretty much similar to all our players. Wasn't among our worst performers at all. From the reaction here you'd think he'd made a huge mistake that lead to a goal in a game against our biggest rivals for the title this season..

Well my eyes disagree with your stats. Can you tell me how many times Oscar touched the ball between minute 55 and 80? Because I literally remember one. Unlike Oscar, Mata and Hazard were trying to make things happen; Mata with passes and Eden with attempted dribbles. Both the chances that you are talking about were in the last 10 minutes when he decided to wake up after it was way too late. Of course he had more touches on the ball than Mata who played 35-40 minutes less than him. Can we stop the fanboyism? The team lost and Oscar was partly to blame as was evident to everyone and he should have been subbed off. No need to take it personally.

Oscar only got involved in the last 10 mins, before that I had honestly forgotten he was still on the pitch. Didn't even touch the ball for ages. I've been one of Oscar's biggest fans this season, but this was BY FAR his worst performance for us. On any account, Oscar was not Jose's biggest mistake today, it was not taking Lampard off until after we conceded. Not saying Mata was great, but working his butt off is a lot better than being completely invisible like Oscar was.

Except Oscar and Lampard were clearly beyond awful yet he took off Mata and Torres who were both working their butts off. Pardew changed the game by bringing on Anita for Tiote but Jose couldn't react in a way to maintain our dominance. He only made the change that should have happened at HT which is Schurrle for Lampard after we conceded and Newcastle could get 11 men behind the ball and play on the counter. He will (hopefully) learn from this, but this should not stop us from pointing out that he messed up today.

Takes the biggest blame for the result today, for me. Rubbish subs and tactics in the second half and just couldn't adjust to the changes Pardew made. How did Oscar play 90 mins?!

Some players had a sub-par today, but he and Oscar were just awful. Had we made the Schurrle for Lampard sub at HT and Willian for Oscar not Mata we probably would have avoided defeat.

Lampard and Oscar were just shocking, truly awful. How the latter managed to stay in the pitch for 90 mins is beyond reason.

Looking good defensively, but not so good on the attack. JT probably our best man in both aspects! And for goodness' sake, someone get Frank Lampard off the pitch! Awful 45 mins, just awful!

At their prime I'd probably say Didier for his overall game and the leadership he gives to the team. But in terms of single performances, I think Zlatan is capable of the best performance in a single game, but he is rather in consistent. Eto'o was the most consistent of the three and I'd probably choose him to have had for 5-6 seasons at his prime.

He's a very hard-working striker but has little talent. In some games that could be more important than all the technical ability in the world. But he is far too inconsistent to be a top striker. Wouldn't pay a penny over 15m for him, not that we need him in the first place. Plus he's a dirty little cheating c*nt..
