I think their fullbacks are their weak points. Both have defensive frailties. I also doubt that AVB will play without someone having that holding midfielder role after what happened against Arsenal (granted he did start with Capoue who is supposed to be a holding midfielder). You just can't play against a team like us without one. If they do, our AMs, especially Oscar will have a field day!

I don't think anyone is saying that Torres is back to being the best in the world, but it's just hard to rate Eto'o ahead of him when he hasn't really put in any good performances. I'm not saying that Torres will remain our best striker, just that until Eto'o proves otherwise, Torres is, for me, the best of the worst currently.

Well I think that's because Eto'o has played all below average games so far. And no, I don't think he played well against Swindon, I expected him to do better.

You missed the goal against Basel. Yes, what about Drogba? In his best seasons, he used to get about 20 to 30% of our team goals. And that was when we did not have attacking midfielders cutting inside and taking the shots instead of the striker. We've never been reliant on strikers as Athletico were on Falcao, or Napoli on Cavani or even united on RVP last season.

Even if you want to scratch the goals against the best team in the world, atm, and the goals against Swindon, we've scored 7 in 5 matches, not 6. It is irrelevant for me who scores the goals as long as we're scoring. We've never been, for over a decade, a team that relies on strikers only for goals.

Btw, it looks like Poyet is going to land the Sunderland job while RDM has turned it down according to an interview Poyet did with an Uruguayan newspaper.

We've scored 11 goals in our 7 matches so far this season. Our scoring "crisis" is not nearly as bad as you're making it out to be.
