Send Spike a PM. He runs these
-
Agreed. The last thing you'd want is for Hazard to receive the ball with his back to goal. He's best when running at players and committing them.
-
Yeah, I remember him struggling with Moses' brute force. He did not have a good game IIRC. But, I mean, he could have lied and said Hazard or Bale to protect his reputation
-
The toughest winger in the EPL to defend against according to Luke Shaw. I must admit I giggled when I read that
-
He actually said in a Twitter interview with fans that the toughest player he's played against is Victor Moses! If he thinks Victor Moses is the toughest opponent, he can stay at Soton, I don't want him here!
-
Here we go, the actual translation of the quotes he made in an interview with a Belgian website (as translated by someone on Twitter): "With Chelsea I saw a lot of good strikers come and go the last years, so we'll see what the future brings. I know a lot of clubs are interested in me, but first I want to play a good WC. If we do well there, everyone wins." That's it, no more. He's basically just saying that he knows that his future at Chelsea is not guaranteed which is only realistic. Nothing about wanting to leave what so ever. Fuck the daily fail. This is low, even for them!
-
I'm sorry but there is something wrong with those quotes. He just can't go from this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2646047/Romelu-Lukaku-insists-wants-stay-Chelsea-despite-uncertainty.html To wanting to leave in just 3 days! The mail has taken the article down while neither the telegraph nor the guardian give a reference or say where or when he said so. They could just be relying on the mails fake quotes. Let's wait a bit more before we pass judgement.
-
Yeah, because if the mail is known for one thing, it's their professionalism!
-
Fake quotes. The mail have already removed the article.
-
They've removed that article which probably means the quotes were fake. Just the other day they posted fake quotes from Pogba, as well. #DailyFail

Schurrle scores! I really think he'll do very well for Germany this WC.
-
For whom? Because it could be really good for Schurrle
-
Reus off injured against Armenia and he looks like he could have done some damage on his ankle ligaments. Could mean that Andre will be a starter for Germany in the WC.

Favorite superhero (besides, Jim )?

To be honest, you don't always need "sources" to get it right. Like this transfer, or Costa, or Luis. They are obvious transfers and make a lot of sense so chances are they will likely happen. By simply monitoring what top teams need and what players are available you can make very good guesses about possible transfers.
-
Congrats
-
He comes up with a lot of bullshit about transfers in the Serie A, but to be fair, he's been more reliable than other journos about transfers in the EPL. Still, he's made some mistakes about us (like De Rossi last summer).

The number eight shirt has become synonymous with Frank Lampard in both white and blue for over a decade. But as he heads into the World Cup this summer, he’ll walk out the other-side a free agent, and a likely a retired international footballer. The 35-year-old has had 16 offers from other clubs according to reports, with New York City being touted as front runners to capture the legend’s signature. But Lampard has only one thing on his mind for the time being, the World Cup. Speaking in Miami during the national side’s training camp, Lampard said he was happy to be concentrating on being in the England squad. “I will concentrate on being with England. It was almost a relief to say that. Now I can move forwards with England. It’s probably something I will address more with Chelsea fans some other time.” The midfielder has had a mixed time over the years for the Three Lions during World Cup’s. He goes into his third tournament having picked up a Man of the Match performance in 2006, before later failing to convert his penalty in the quarter final against Portugal. Then of course there was that decision in 2010 against the Germans. Who knows what might have been had we had goal line technology, or common sense for that matter, 4 years ago? But what can Lampard do this time around? Roy Hodgson has named him vice-captain and his experience will no doubt be vital in South America. England Group D odds suggest that the Three Lions are 3rd favourites to top the qualifying table so they’ll need all the help they can get. His presence in the dressing room may provide an influence but whether he’ll play a major part on the pitch is a different story. Although the 35-year-old, who will turn 36 before the tournament plays out, is unlikely to start, should England have a lead to hold on to in games, you would certainly put trust in Lampard coming off the bench to help see out a result ahead of the likes of the inexperienced Raheem Sterling, Jordan Henderson and others. Over the last twelve months or so, the nation has watched the younger guns go head-to-head with the world’s elite and struggled against Germany, Chile and even Ukraine. The only complete performance against one of the big nations came at Wembley last year when England triumphed over World Cup hosts Brazil. Guess who scored the winner? With 29 goals in 104 caps, Lampard has certainly been a tremendous servant to his country. At Chelsea the midfielder has won everything there is to be won and the only thing missing from his revered trophy cabinet is a World Cup winner’s medal. Could Frank have one last hurrah in Brazil and inspire England to claim a 2nd, highly unlikely, World Cup? Click here to view the article

Kevin failing to succeed here has nothing to do with where he was loaned to before, it was because he was unlucky and didn't his chances at the start of the season, but he went into the season as the star of our preseason and as a starter. He couldn't handle the pressure and it didn't help that he was played out of position on the wing due to the presence of Oscar and Mata. But his performances in the Bundes Liga earned him a place in the first team.
-
I agree. That's why I think Southampton, if he's guaranteed a starting place there, or the Bundes Liga are his best options.
-
Would he, though? If he's guaranteed 15 starts at Everton, I'm all for it. But I'm afraid that he's only going to get 3-4 starts in the cups and a hand full of sub appearances which would basically be a year wasted of his development. You never know, Martinez might even want to take the EL seriously and play his best side in it.
-
That's a factor, but playing time is much bigger one, imo. If it was just about being surrounded by good players and manger, then just bring him back to Chelsea and have him start 3-4 Capital One games.
-
Mine too! I think I actually blushed in real life You're just saying that.... One more question which has intrigued me, if I may: Why didn't you apply for the moderator position last month? I really expected you to.
-
I meant his chances in the first team between the start of this season and the start of last.
-
But that's the point. He won't be playing at the highest level if he's on the bench for the big games and only plays against weaker sides. He might as well stay at Zulte where he still gets to play Europa but also get 30+ other games in the league, or move to the Bundes Liga where he'll play better opposition than at Zulte and be a starter.
