  1. That man is not his agent, he's a fraud. Salah himself just said so:
  2. As it should be. The bunny is trying to look too cute to be elbowed!
  3. Well it was until you brought it up again and reminded us all...
  4. Van Gaal calling them Queens Park Raisins just made my day!
  5. Looked more to me like "he hates scoring"!
  6. Certainly not lower than Willian's football IQ, though! Only Willian can make me want to put my head through a wall when we're 4-0 up before HT....and I thought he had a very good game!
  7. DON'T. Please don't explain it to me. I only read the first 4 words of that post. I don't want to know. The fact that I can literally make no sense at all of that photo is exactly what makes it epic!
  8. What exactly is an "attempted key pass"? Doesn't a pass by definition has to be successful in order to be classified as a key pass or not? I mean surely the pass has to reach its target for us to know if the recipient will shoot on goal or not?! As always, the discussion on here about Oscar is "metaphysical" to me Here's my humble contribution to the thread, nonetheless: Excellent classy finishes on both of the goals and a great performance overall. My motm because he was our best "presser" which for me is what won us the match so easily and helped us dominate.
  9. Except those are NOT his exact words. Watch the video. He said that Salah can't leave and then he made a joke about the club giving him 50m to spend.
  10. Tbf, I think that has more to do with the fact that people associated James more with the utterly horrendous haircuts than the record! Seriously speaking, obviously for Petr himself it is a huge deal like any major individual record is for top players. It ensures that his name is always mentioned whenever the record is which could be for a long time because I can't see the record being broken any time soon. It also probably makes a great case for him to be remembered as the best keeper in the history of the EPL over the likes of Schmeichel and Van Der Sar, especially that he already has the best clean sheet ratio among the "greats". James was mostly an idiot and not even a record like that was going to change that view, while for a world class player like Petr who's always played at the very top level, a record like that can change how "history" remembers him. Practically for us, it could be a factor in him deciding whether he want to move abroad or to a local team (probably a rival) in the summer. It's also nice for us fans to have a club legend of ours holding the ultimate record for his position. Bragging rights, part of history and all that....
  11. Technically we can win it with 3 draws and a penalty shoot-out win!
  12. I think the players realize that he's passing through a rough period and that a goal is important for him.
  13. That doesn't sound like Jose at all!
  14. Great performance by him today. Definitely his best game for us so far. More of this, please.
  15. 5 more to equal the PL record and 6 to break. Will be very tough to achieve this season, unfortunately.
  16. No need to rush him back while we have someone like Petr as "backup". As Jose said, 100% Petr > 85% Thibaut.
  17. Am I the only one who thinks this is the perfect game to put Remy on?
  18. Second game for them, right? I read he absolutely bossed it on his debut. Impressed a lot of people.
  19. "Can't see City dropping point" In their last three EPL matches, they have lost 2 goal leads to Burnley and Sunderland and drew with Everton. They're hardly setting the world alight to merit all this hype..
  20. Anyone know what the deal with him is? Last thing I read a week or so ago is that we may not be able to loan him to Bordeaux because he's played 45 minutes with Burnley and a random game or something with our U21s so he's already been technically feature for two different clubs this season and can't feature for a third according to UEFA rules.
  21. Won't hold my breathe until he actually plays for them. Still time for him to end the loan before it even begins! It was the work of his agent.
  22. Yeah, his positioning is pretty bad for a supposed top goal keeper. Always seems to be a step off where he should be. Even in FKs you can see it. And when I say technique, I mean his shot saving technique which is unorthodox to say the least. Particularly for low shots where he for some reason always tries to save with his feet first instead of hands. And yes, inconsistency, hence why he's been dropped many times over his performances since he joined utd. People forget this, but when he was chosen the best keeper of the year two season ago, he had been dropped for almost two months by SAF in that very season for his poor form. De Gea, is however, probably the best in the world at making reflex saves which are the most "glamorous" and make him look very good. No, none of what I mentioned, apart from inconsistency in deal with crosses and high balls, applied to Petr. Petr, for me, remains as the best in the world at positioning and anticipation, maybe on par only with Neuer in that area. Hence why A LOT of the really difficult saves he makes look fairly easy (example in the last match against Newcastle, the low save to his right he made at 0-0. De Gea would have most probably let that one in.
  23. I am honestly embarrassed for them! They might as well be wearing a "small club mentality" badge
  24. Speaking of Tottenham: Wonder when the DVD is out I actually feel a bit sympathetic for the sad cunts.....
