I dont know why but i had a feeling that today's game would be similar to the last seasons Burnley Game. And it looks like everything going to plan. We last season lost on penalties. Hopefully Carlo's luck helps us win on penalties.

Hows Kakuta and Bruma performing?
-
I am not shocked the Tosh has spilled onto this thread now... I had a dream last night where Kakuta starts and scores a 62 minute winner.
-
I think whats now getting even more boring is the guys who are slagging off TX. Its sane to just shut the fuck up and move on.
-
Hey TX...Everyone or atleast most over here agree with your opinion but there is a word in English dictionary which you need to take a look at. Its "REQUEST"
-
Its not a first time a thread has been merged so Dont know why it is an issue.
-
When?

He scored the 89th minute Winner for Twente from outside the box in the EUROPA League. I still think he can play either on the left or right of the diamond. May be next season, a Loan move in Premier League would be great for him.

With all the Hoopla surrounding the debut of Kakuta, we are forgetting that there is a 20 yr old in the dutch league who has been giving sterling performances for the League Leaders. Miroslav Stoch has been a revelation and I am sure Ancelloti has an eye on him. I am not saure if he will be brought back any sooner. May be next yr he might be sent bck to Twente to continue with them and in 2011 might be brought back to replace Deco and Ballack in the midfeild. Also, he isnt just a winger but also an attacking midfielder who can play LCM or RCM. Excited to have him back soon.

Nicolas Anelka came in when he was 28. At 29 he had his best season with us, 30 he is playing well and we are already looking for a player to replace him next season. So thats 2 yrs. Why pay 35 million for someone like that who would give 2 yrs to us after which we would start looking for a new player to replace him. No sense there. Id rather pay those 35 million to Aguero.
-
35 million for 28 yr old(next season he will be 28) is waste. Nuff said.
-
Rotation isnt a problem for us cus we got quality all over. Incase of Liverpool if they try to rotate thier players they dont have quality to replace Torres and Gerrad.

That was a scare....

This game and the next, Man Utd will look to close the gap. We need to win this game. Surely we can. 2-0 to us.

And you weren't a Chelsea supporter ... No, I was Man Utd growing up. You know what it's like when you're a boy, you want to support the team that's winning everything. And my dad and grandad were Man Utd fans. But my first day at Chelsea I knew that was the club I wanted to be at. I just loved it. But Man Utd also approached me. I met Alex Ferguson - great to meet. During the school holidays I would go up to Manchester and train with their boys for two weeks, play a few games and come home. But one thing that was really special about Man Utd was that Alex Ferguson took time out and invited me to one of their games and to have lunch with their players. So there we are - me, my mum and dad, my brother. He made me feel so special, autographs, my photo done with the Premiership trophy. I think it was hard for my dad to take that I was going to sign for Chelsea, but I had to sit him down and tell him it was definitely the right decision.

Why? Wasnt he a fan of Man Utd? Why would he choose Chelsea? From what I read, (long time back) he was either 1. Turned off by the competition at Man Utd and saw a chance at Chelsea. 2. Rejected by Fergie.
-
Jeez....Ive been on here for 2 and half years now and I thought I was old.
-
He even went for trials to Man Utd but was rejected by Fergie. (I think)
-
I remeber JT was a Man Utd fan as a kid. Not sure...

Diamond or Christmas tree....is the preference of Ancelloti. We are playing great in the diamond, dont see a reason why it should change in future. Formation for Future: ---------------------------------Borini/Sturrdige/Di Santo --------------------------Kakuta/Stoch--------------Aguero/Stoch----- -----Lampard/Hamsik/Dzagoev---------Mikel------------------Essien/Matic ----------Zirkov--------------------Terry-------------Alex-------------Bosingwa/Ivanovic -----------------------------------------------Cech Without Essien and Lampard that would look more like an Arsenal Team. Pleaseing to the eye but not sure how efficient they would be.
-
When he was bought I read about him and it seemed like he was a Defensive Playmakes like Alonso and Pirlo. He plays on the Left of the Diamond?
-
Doesnt Matic play in the defensive midfield like a defensive playmaker ala Alonso....
-
Exactly my view...We better start looking for a RB now...and you know why..

Stoch is a Class act. His Club are leading the Ducth League and he is having a Big impact there. In the current set up we have Deco and Joe Cole in our No.10 position, Deco is 32 and I dont see him staying with us for long. Stoch can take the role of Deco, and may be Kakuta can replace Joe Cole in two to three years time. Also, Kakuta could also be used as a second striker. and Stoch at the tip of the diamond. I am sure Ancelloti will have a plan for both.
