  1. Agreed he made a blunder in Champions League but this whole season is a one off. Fergie got beaten by mou home and away consecutive times. Infact he won just once against us in the 3 seasons that mou was in Charge.
  2. 2 points First: In Italy they give preference to Champions League compared to the domestic League. He could have won the title for second time and could have won more but for no fault of his AC Milan were awarded massive points deduction next seasons during the calciopoli scandal. Second: The fans at AC Milan came up with this poll after 8 years. Compare that to our fans who want him out in 2 years inspire of winning the first ever double. Now tell me which ones look more like a joke.
  3. So you expect him to show grit, drive, passion with a squad of 16+3 gks and youth over an entire season with key players like lampard who never gets injured out for 5 months and benayoun out for an entire season almost, add to that malaria to Drogba. Top it all by having his trusted assistant fired for reasons only gourlay knows.? You are demanding I must say.
  4. They are deceiving because: 1. Lampard takes corners as you can see 5 of those unsuccessful ones are Corners. 2. McEchran has more lateral passes which is understandable as he played the Holding role.
  5. 1. You mean a Manager who could win year after year and if we were to go with a season without the title we should sack him and look for another manager who could bring us the "Stability" 2. He is the same manager who won the Champions League twice in space of 5 seasons and almost won it the 3rd time in those 5 seasons. 3. So you basically expect Ancelottyi to fight in the ring with his hands tied at the back and top it all by expecting him to win it? Any title winning club has a BIG SQUAD. I am sure you are a fan of Mourinho, Count the no. of players in that squad and compare to our squad this season. Also, the reason we need a BIG SQUAD is cus titles are won over a period of an entire season. Something thats not acheivable by a squad of 16+3 GK and youth Btw under him we completed a Grand Slam of 6 out of 6 wins agaisnt the Big 4. Wonder what universe were you in when you mentioned his "deficiencies against Big teams" 4. Can you explain what qualities Fergie showed when they went 3 season without the title and how different they were to Ancelotti's? With the hindsight its all good to say what you said about Fergie. But there have been fans like you who back then spoke of Fergie past his best and getting old and soft with players. 5. I am sorry to burst your bubble, but you have no patience for going without a title for a season, cant see how you will bear a manager that goes without a title for 3 seasons. You will find faults in him to back your claim as to why we need another manager. I just dont get it when fans say, they would like Ancelotti to stay if he could motivate and be tactically astute and be good man manager, etc. And then add if he was that, they wouldnt mind Chelsea going trophyless. My argument is that, if he was that he would have won the title every season. No one can do that. Fergie went without title for 3 seasons does that mean he was an awful manager and bad tactically?
  6. Really? Sacking Mou and having Grant there then Sacking Grant and having Scolari, thensacking Scolari and having Guss. Certainly the club board is doing a great job. Why dont you look at Manchester United instead of Arsenal?
  7. He was poor. Gave the ball away too many times and was rightly subbed. He needs a loan stint Next Season.
  8. True......All the talk about the Bright Light is nonsense.
  9. Vander Vaart (Surplus to Mou) Sneijder Makalele Robben. On the contrary it tells you buy Real Madrid players.
  10. Penalty to Fulham in dieing minutes. If it hadnt been for Cech we wouldnt even be playing the title decider at OT. Penalty against Brums at Home. Got nutmegged at Half line at Stoke because of his tendency to commit early. And that lead to their goal. And OT performance. Defensively Yes. But tactically No. We need to build our tempo from the back for which Luiz is much better compared to Alex.
  11. You only have to ask a Benefica Fan how Luiz is at Full back and you will get an answer saying "ABYSMAL".
  12. 1. My Bad. I meant Chief Exec.He has Voice, but it seems it is only towards managers and players. A Chief Exec has to run a club and take it to the next level and not just be a messenger. 2. The point is Kenyon had sense in seeing that continuity was important and he tried to convince Roman with sticking to his managers. Gourlay on the other hand seems spineless. Fired Ray Wilkins for what? and now Carlo's future is in balance 3. We dont know anything. Our job is speculating. If it was sorted weeks ago why Ancelotti had to point that he had a meeting with Gourlay to review his stint? Even Gourlay mentioned he will review manager's position at the end of season. Which is a shame considering the situation the squad was in after he won the double in first season.
  13. Feelings are mutual. The fact that the club is even thinking of getting rid of Carlo after the double last season shows what a bunch of jokers we have in Gourlay and Buck. Atleast Kenyon was better off as he tried to convince Roman not to fire Mou, that explains why Mou was gone while kenyon was Holidaying. Gourlay on the other hand just takes orders from Roman and executes it. He is a spineless chairman who collects a fat pay check for obeying his master. If Buck and Gourlay had an iota of sense they would have tried to convince Roman to continue with Carlo. But the fact that they are reviewing his his stint on monday and have still not confirmed that our Manager is safe proves what I think of them. To manage or play in such uncertainty is tough on our players and specially the manager and I hope the Board realizes this.
  14. Man cannot live without Hope and therefore he made God.
  15. I know, but prior to that and after that he has no chance of starting which is sad. Hence I would prefer him to be on loan to Bolton where he plays week in and out and his confidence grows. We as fans we all want Studge to come back and start. But the club as usual has different ideas and I dont like those ideas, hence Studge should stay on loan at Bolton
  16. He will, If Neymar comes in. Surely the club wont bench a 85 million worth of talent (50+ 35) and Drogba certainly wouldnt be benched.
  17. We know they wont make those "Big Decisions". Theres a wide gap between what we want and what the club wants. Torres, Drogba and Neymar and Sturridge. This is going to shatter his confidence cus he has no chance in hell to start. I would therefore prefer him to go back to Bolton on a full season loan. He has scored 8 in 11. If he scored 20 in 38 next season, he could replace Drogba at the end of next season.
  18. Well, If Drogba stays and we bring in Neymar, Sturridge has no chance. Instead of have him rot on the bench I would love to see him do well for an entire season at Bolton. And bring him back for the season after next to forge a front three in the name of Torres, Studge and Neymar with Kalou ofcourse as the sub
  19. I dont want them to. This season, Kalou has most goals by minutes ratio. You cant have all 4 top strikers. Kalou is the best impact sub in the league and I consider him as an asset more than a liability to us. Yes he is wasteful when he starts but we all know the impact he brings on as a sub is second to none. The frustration comes from the potential he has which he does not fulfill when he starts. He gets in such good positions but wastes his chances. People call him shit, but he is that only when he starts. when he comes on as a sub he is a million miles better player.
  20. Imagine you are just doing your day to day job at a store and life's good, just another day and some random guy stabs you for no reason and then goes about beheading you and then runs around with your head. I mean WHAT THE FUCK!!
  21. How credible is that source? I mean, Tomorrow I can post on your Wall and tell you, I was on Roman's Yatch this evening with Gourlay and Buck and we plan to bid for Messi this summer. Secondly, Moving, Stadium is fine with me. a 60k seater is absolutely fine. More than the Looks of the stadium Id rather have the acoustics of the stadium looked at with precision. We want an atmosphere like
  22. Argentina had the mist disastrous world cup campaign under him. Prio to that he was always an average coach and Argentina stint didn't do him any good. His only decent managerial stint was with chile. That's it. Atleast scolari had great stints as international manager but struggled with week after week of management something I won't rule out with an average manager like bielsa
  23. Fans have a short memory. They will judge the players by his current season ignoring the fact that he had been injured most season, ignoring the fact that he was fantastic as a DM for wolves last season, was decent as a RB and DM for us under Guus. Hell the fans are even wondering if Lampard should go cus he has a bad season. Someone mentioned the wolves fans don't like mancienne anymore, I dun blame them cus we have our fans saying lampard should be sold or benched next season. Cork is a good player but he has very little premiership experience and once he has a similar lengthy spell to that of manciennes you will see burnley fans calling him shit too. Ignoring this year Michael mancienne has been a better RB CB and DM with more premiership experience than cork and some decent performances in Chelsea first team
