  1. Lukaku having a fabulous impact. His first piece of action was embarrassing when he slipped and I was worried that he would let that get to him but he's really shaken things up!! Come on Romelu!!
  2. That doesn't really mean anything though, he can just create a new one. If he admits it's the same guy, he can say to people "I said I would shut down that account, not forever stay away from twitter"
  3. Need to have a lot of patience with him... He isn't just some normal footballer. His injuries mean that it's very unlikely he could become a regular 50 game a season player at a high level. Slow and steady will be good progression for him.
  4. How much is he on though? He signed his current deal in 2008, and he must've been earning 60k or so back then. So it's ridiculous to keep him here on his current wages imo. Coaches earn way less than that!
  5. hmm.. they're changing my mind! Haven't really seen much of him off the pitch so didn't notice before. He's always so sweaty when he's playing and his face... glistens
  6. Pity Giroud signed for Arsenal. Imagine our team if he was in it :eyebrows:
  7. Don't forget his bedroom eyes in that vid :eyebrows: :eyebrows: Haha. Hazard's okay imo but idk, sometimes he looks a little like one of those wax figures at madame tussauds
  8. I can't help it!!! Cannot stop staring at that photo milan.cech posted  The way you guys lust after Eva........ no one should be judging me!
  9. Was just thinking about what a great transfer window it's been for us so far and immediately my mind went to this big man. I know it was a team effort but what he did changed the entire course of our future. So thank you Didier!!!! Always be remembered!
  10. haha, happy to be wrong about those twitter rumours! Really happy with this signing
  11. Thats bullshit. Wouldn't marseille have to announce first that they've accepted a bid, like what wigan did?
  12. Do you think we could have subforums for discussing PL teams? Like a thread for each team? Not for general comments such as "I hate those cunts" and "so happy ____ won" but actual in-depth discussion about their tactics, players etc? Or would that be too messy? Also, what happened to that post-match summary type thing that Alex did a few times last season? The one with his views along with key points from each game & a few quoted member comments regarding those points from the match thread? I thought it was very well done and would love to see the feature back!
  13. Why does almost every post focus on Torres? I'm sick of it! When he does ok it's extreme praise, when he does badly it's extreme negativity. Ugh.
  14. Yep exactly what I was thinking. Also when it was 3-2 and Reading had those freekicks & corners, in the last 3-4 seasons especially we would have collapsed and conceded a stupid equaliser
  15. Agree. Very good display by Sturridge I thought
  16. But damnit, RDM needs to stop with this 'Ramires at RW' shit. He is just awful there. Hope we sign Moses ASAP if we don't have anyone else for that position
  17. Yep!! Teams were beaten even before they stepped onto the pitch during 04-06. Sad that some have forgotten about that unbelievable unbeaten home record we had going. It wasn't just fluke too. Sure, there were a few games where we got last-second equalisers but for the most part we were totally dominant. Tbh I think I even regard 2007 as a more 'enjoyable' season. In terms of the way we fought despite injuries to Cech, JT, Carvalho and god knows who else... Essien playing all across the back 4 and being a BEAST.. Drogba's stunning goals... That game at the emirates where we lost the title but fought to the end despite being a man down and essien's (who else) equaliser and Jose's chin-up at the end. Ah I'm getting nostalgic
  18. Despite the high scoring games that season, we were much more dominant in 04/05 and 05/06. IDK. Those two seasons were special. 09/10 was great too but not the same for me for some reason, despite some amazing stuff like Malouda's form, Drogba's goals... Anyway back on topic, doubt this will happen.
  19. From what I recall his performances dipped significantly right around the time of that Spurs game at white hart lane in december or so. I think he had a toe injury of some sort and since then he was horrible
  20. @xPetrCechx, please stop posting quotes from that guy.
  21. Liverpool are the gift that just keeps on giving, aren't they? Lmao.
  22. I know lol but this kinda thing only happens to lolerpool. In complete control with 183749293829 chances yet they go 1-0 down. Just lol.
