Yep!! Teams were beaten even before they stepped onto the pitch during 04-06. Sad that some have forgotten about that unbelievable unbeaten home record we had going. It wasn't just fluke too. Sure, there were a few games where we got last-second equalisers but for the most part we were totally dominant. Tbh I think I even regard 2007 as a more 'enjoyable' season. In terms of the way we fought despite injuries to Cech, JT, Carvalho and god knows who else... Essien playing all across the back 4 and being a BEAST.. Drogba's stunning goals... That game at the emirates where we lost the title but fought to the end despite being a man down and essien's (who else) equaliser and Jose's chin-up at the end. Ah I'm getting nostalgic

Those two seasons were special. 09/10 was great too but not the same for me for some reason, despite some amazing stuff like Malouda's form, Drogba's goals... Anyway back on topic, doubt this will happen.

From what I recall his performances dipped significantly right around the time of that Spurs game at white hart lane in december or so. I think he had a toe injury of some sort and since then he was horrible
