Damn Damn Damn - Why no Heskey!? Darn injuries.

Have you tried going for Sky broadband aswell? If I remember right when we had sky for broadband Skysports was only an extra 99p or something like that. Anyways we went back to Virgin Media for the internet but still have some sort of top sky package.

Yes, but as mentioned before this kid is special. If we wait too long its only a matter of time before the likes of Real and Barca pursue him. We have Torres already, who isn't getting anything from our service. I know Higuain and Cavani are clinically superior, and more confident atm but whose to say they can do any better. Pato doesn't need any of that, but can create something on his own accord. It's like Dzeko vs Aguero.

When I said reliance on being fed I meant like how they play well when the wingers and midfielders are. They are clinical though yes. But with Pato he can make a goal out of nothing, he has that magic. Remember that goal against Barca? Pato can beat 2 or 3 players and score out of nothing.

Pato - Mr.Versatile, Mr. Usain Bolt, Mr. Young, - see my point, Pato is a rare breed of striker. Ronaldo (real Ronaldo)-esque and Aguero like. Higuain and Cavani are fantastic poachers who won't be any less of a buy, but in the premier league this guy would cause absolute havoc. Cavani and Higuain, proven as they may be are more reliant on being fed. Great players nevertheless. Pato injuries can be a worry, but maybe our doctors can help him in another way.I know Milan are renowned for their incredible fitness levels, but we aren't too shabby. If this boy can be kept fit he has everything to be one the top players in the world.

I got some good vibes from this for sure. AVB has outlined we'll be targeting: -talent, the "best talent available" - Lucas, Hazard? I'm relieved we're not going for the lazy route and still looking positive - the "forward sitatuion" any way you look at it, their must be truth in some rumors - Higuain, Hulk and Pato were all finding their way too the newspapers last week so I think their is something to go on their. Same goes for Hazard and Lucas! My wishlist: Lucas, Hazard, Pato and Cahill For Midfield I say we don't splash the cash: Josh, even after his inevitable loan may lose a lot of playing time and we have Piazon already. I'd say Sergi Roberto is a good one. Perhaps recall Kakuta for the wings but a loan might suffice for the 2nd half of the season.

Carlo please do us a favour: take Malouda and leave Pato for us

"No, this is not true," he told Sky Sports News when asked if City were close to sealing a deal for the youngster. "He is a good player but at this moment we have not spoken about him." - Mancini

Well overdue... Madrid (Yes, they see the long term and consistently achieve outstanding revenue results - Perez is a marketing genius) and Milan especially are exceptional in those terms.

This will be an absolute crime to football if he moves to PSG. I love watching this guy, and all Milan fans seem very strongly against him going anywhere. Why don't we pounce on his 'breakdown' in communication with Allergi. Honestly, in the past he's spoke of his admiration to Chelsea - albeit when Ancelotti was at the helm, but Pato as a human being seems driven by football over money. It seems as though Milan are trying to cash in - but with: Our Brazillian contingent, attacking play, need for a versatile attacker like him - and not to mention our money, we pertain a great chance... I hope Ancelotti doesn't go to PSG, Pato seems to hold him in great deference.

I've got loads of Madrista friends who hold the likes of Carlos, Zidane and Ronaldo is similar esteem. I've always supported Madrid in Spain, since a lot of their players were icons too me. I know he went through the Madrid youth, but it's not as if its a 25 - 7 pretty generic, and always regarded highly. Raul did make it his own for many years, but the most expensive signing for Madrid, someone who's broken LEGENDS goal-scoring records and is regarded as one of the best players in the world is a respectful homage wouldn't you say?
-
This guy is IMMENSE, I've seen him play a fair amount of games and he reminds me of Messi, he doesn't do to much skills just seems to glide past players using his pace and technique. He's also got a pretty good build (I would say), height-wise he's like Messi, pretty short (not really a problem though). I see Neymar as the Ronaldo and Lucas as the Messi of Brazil. I'm surprised we actually put in a bid tbh, we weren't being linked much - according to the source they are going to reject all 3 bids from Chelsea, Inter &..... the scousers (They think they can get anyone!) And we were going to get Neymar for like 17mill originally or something like that (Stupid Pele), idk what people say even if he didn't play immense I'd say that would definitely have been worth it (Less money that Liverpool payed for DOWNING).

Funny shit... only Liverpool fans would have the arrogance to post this and get it that many views. Hilarious!
-
True but the same could be said for Nuri Sahin wearing Zizou's number 5 shirt, Benzema wearing Ronaldo's number 9 and Pepe wearing Roberto Carlos' number 3 !!! . And anyways Ronaldo isn't doing Raul disservice we're talking of a player that broke Telmo Zarra and Hugo Sanchez's goal scoring record and is considered to be in the top 2 players in the world today! At the end of the day we can go on forever with the amount of legends Real had lol
-
Different type of player completely and just no. Compare him to Johnson or even Nasri if you want. Loaned to getafe I think if Madrid go for him we're in trouble - Zidane being his idol and all. But he's astute and always comes across as player vying for playing time and a good future. Why else would he express an open liking for Arsenal? That's why I think we are in a good situation with what we can offer Eden: - Attacking player perfect for AVB's philosophy - like with Mata it could provide very attractive - we're in need of a Robben like winger to provide our strikers with some proper service - In essence he's therefore guaranteed time. - We have Lukaku and thibaut courtois which could act as a comforting factor for him. We sometimes forget he is only 20! Maybe Cole can give us a hand - Unlike Arsenal we're willing to dish out the money, Lille have already made it clear they want as much money as possible. - Young player who seems an exemplary AVB target. - By unfortunately missing out on Varges, Hazard may have more attention - Neymar rumors echoing again, but with amid Madrid and Barca interest his capture seems more of a dream. *Sighs* can't believe we could've got him a year ago for what now would've been a bargain and a half. People may fail to see it but AVB and his attacking aura has definitely brought something. 'Boring, boring chelsea' is the past, even if it's not beautiful yet our future is looking it. Slowly but gradually it is happening. Look at the pieces in Luiz, Romeu, Mata, Sturridge, Piazon, Mceachran, Thibaut etc. That's why we must give AVB his time and not halt it at this critical time of transition. It'd make this difficult period redundant.
-
I saw that - just ridiculous, but hey what if we could get him a few months later for half the price . But the Tevez issue complicates things, Pato is the Milan sweetheart and most fans are strongly against him leaving. He loves Milan and they love him, but their seem to be accruing frailties in his 'unsellability' which we must really pounce on. They need the money.
-
As much as we can find a justification in Pastore where could we be as a club with him today? For PSG he has not been too shabby I tell you, he started off like a house on fire but sustained a little injury. Wiki have his record at 11 games and 6 goals. Mata and Sturridge will not suffice for creativity, with Pastore I coud bet you we'd have got a few more goals by now.
-
When will we learn I know Pato has his injury niggles but for me he'd make an impact of equal magnitude to that of Aguero. He has all the ingredients to be one of the top 4 players in the world. I know some people are forwarding the option of strikers like Cavani, but a poacher without a source is a toothless tiger. A tiger like Pato can work without a soucrce, but with one, is a lion. Look at Aguero at City and most aptly, el fenomeno of Brazil.
-
I said an equally clinicial striker I'd love Higuain but I've always said Pato would be my preferred choice. Ronaldo-esque (Brazillian) who can do more than score and find the net with an individual moment of magic. Aguero was such a miss
-
Could be useful indeed but we should be looking forward. Benayoun was devastating tonight but he is the past, heck his Chelsea jibes (arguably inadvertent) solidified it. Nevertheless Benayoin is an exemplary example as to why we should NEVER, EVER loan our players to a rival club. He got them 3 points last week and 1 tonight - we need be more adept in the stratagems of the transfer market.
-
Exactly I don't think our pursuit for Higuain will deter our search for a winger in the mould of Hazard for example. We are lacking a clinical striker like RVP that can be difference between a point or three on occasions.
