He was, but shouldn't of been. I think AVB was in 2 minds when he joined, he openly plauded his talent and probably saw the rustiness in our midfield - If meireles did flop I reckon he'd of had far more chances. Nevertheless, it doesn't negate his lack of playing time. I think most of us are still quite bemused at it tbh. If we just promote some of our youths...
£18 million is ridiculous, but they've set a low bemchmark which could be very good for us. Honestly Pato for anything under £30 million is more than a steal.
This interview was last week sometime, they chose Neymar, as would I (can anybody find this in better quality?) . Rooney's goal did have an element of luck to it no doubt, brilliant nonetheless:
This is our problem. If he has those assets why make him a "normal"attacking midfielder? When he gets on form, the ability to beat the player, is what makes him world-class. If we do this why not go ahead and make Luiz a DM or Drogba a defender. It just takes away what makes them so special into something good, but not unique or special. I may be hyperbolic but come on let's go and find a natural AM like Lucas M.
All this is doing is showing the world we've known for years. Liverpool are one of the lowest, scummiest clubs in the world. It's always been hidden as passion when most of the time it's just aggressive scums using football as a vehicle for their to act like thugs.
Ahh but he wasn't that wrong, we did actually kind of have him signed when fees were agreed Damn I hate Pele. ____━━____┓━╭━━━━╮ ____━━____┗┓|::::::^━━^/¯/ ____━━____━┗|:::::|。◕‿‿◕。| ____━━____━━╰O-O----O-O\
I used to "embrace(or use) the N (not white) word" if you say so , being a fan of Nas, Rakim, 2pac etc. and seeing films like Juice, M2S, and Boyz n the hood. But when I first watched this video it hit me:
Sometimes people just need to be reminded of it, but then you could say blacks embraced the word used against them. like the suffragettes etc. Either way you'd rarely catch someone from the oldest black generation using it.
It's not that I wouldn't like Cavani it's just that I think Pato offers far more than a goal. He has the magic to dribble past 3 players and score out of nothing. Cavani is a different breed of striker that will probably do good, but needs the service. With the service we have I don't think Cavani would be the machine he is for Napoli. Pato has far more ability, the only problem are his injuries. Take that away you'll see he averages a goal every 2nd game and has the ability to be one of the very best. imo he already is as a striker.
Exactly. How many of those goals came from Torres running in from the wing too? He's a striker and needs to play their. So many times this season I've seen him dropping far too deep.
