From what I'm hearing now his buyout is 13-15 million but 20 mil is wanted. The thing is a precedent has been set, 20 is what they want so it won't incur the "chelsea-tax'. 13 mill, 15 mill, even 20 mill? All sound pretty good to me. The guys a young, attacking winger with bags of potential. He fits the AVB bill and perhaps thats why I'm a little puzzled as to why we haven't been linked with him at all. If I were AVB I'd sign Shaqiri with my eyes closed.

Take a step back guys. Find me a source, which backs this up, that doesn't come from twitter. One-person makes up bs, next person copies it, then somebody adds a few details. I mean I f***ing heard that Sp*ds signed him for 40 million. Believe me this and the Arsenal rumor were spreading like wildfire. It's absolutely ridiculous. There is nothing. No base. No legitimacy. Just children fantasising on twitter…

Fair enough Barca play brilliant football, but honestly sometimes I can't help but feel disgusted with the decisions that ALWAYS go there way. Feel for Madrid they really should have won it. The media will a way to rip into them someway.

WTF How is that a Yellow. F*** off Ref'.

Get IN 2-2 - Class by Benzema

Dani Alves - exaggerating twat, tie could of got interesting again.

Touche, Also shows that we're willing to dish out the money on the right players. Kind of indicates a hint of truth too the rumors that we bidded 35 mill for Hazard yesterday, which would make sense if we had one rejected for Lucas.
-
^^^^^ I think this shows that Sao Paulo are willing to sell him but Lucas's camp aren't ready. $80 million is just a clause to keep him at Sao Paulo until Lucas feels it's right to go IMO (or until somebody stupid enough comes along and pays out the clause.)

Twitter has gone mad with Eden Hazard to Arsenal rumors. Also theyre saying his agent is in London, whether it's talks with Chelsea or Arsenal they're not sure. Funny thing is the Arsenal rumors are based on quotes from last year. LOL, twitter is just the electronic version of chinese whispers.

Wouldn't get too excited, theyre also saying: I think they said we had a bid rejected for Hazard the other day too. Don't take my word for it though, honestly I'm unsure of there reliability.

Murmers of £9.6 million needed. Take note AVB, £9.6 million!

This story has all the ingredients for a Hollywood movie. in 2001 He fled war-torn Somalia with his parents when he was just six, was later spotted by one of the biggest clubs in Britian and became one of the most promising players in Scotland, even labeled by many 'the Scottish Wayne Rooney'. 10 years after, aged 16, Islam Feruz signed for one of the the richest clubs in the world, Premier-League club Chelsea leaving his former club furious. When the Feruz family arrived to Scotland illegally they were set for deportation, but the late Tommy Burns, then in charge of Celtic 's youth development, spotted Islam`s talent and managed to convince the Foreign Office to let his family stay. During the years Islam proved that Burns knew what he was fighting for. The young African had developed into a lightning striker, earning a call-up the the Scottish u-17 team when only 14 and scoring 6 goals in his first 7 matches. Last year he starred for Celtic `s u-19 team and began training with the senior squad. Celtic were hoping to sign Feruz on a professional contract, but they had very stiff competition. Some of the biggest and richest European clubs – Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid to name but a few - began to show interest in the young talent, and finally Chelsea won the race in September after offering the youngster £2,500-a-week salary. The Celtic staff have found little comfort in the £250,000 compensation fee they would receive from Stamford Bridge. Team manager, Neil Lennon, was left furious: “We've done all we can to keep him here. We took him out of what you might describe as a rough estate and put his family in a nice flat. The club has been so good to him. We've looked after him and his family very well but his head's been turned, obviously. I think he's been badly advised. I don't think the football is the main issue here.” Feruz's agent, Rui Alves, rejected the claims: "It was in Islam's heart to move to Chelsea. The structure at youth level at Chelsea is great. It will be a gift from god to see him playing in the Premier-League. He would love to thank Celtic for all they did for him and his parents.” Well, in order to create such drama and controversy you must be something special, don`t you? Strengths Though only 1.63 meter tall, Feruz owns amazing strength which makes him a very hard player to handle, even for tough defenders. He is very fast and got explosive pace combined with great technique, dribbling skills and close ball control, elements that make him also very useful playing on the flanks. Mainly right footed, he can shoot the ball well with both feet from any distance. Just like the Manchester United striker he is compared to, Feruz also loves to come deep to collect the ball and then burst at the defense. Weaknesses Feruz is still raw material, his only senior-team experience was in the 2009 testimonial to Tommy Burns. “The next two or three years are very important in terms of his development through full-time football”, said Neil Lennon - and it`s true. His passing game and tactical and defending abilities are just some of the aspects he needs to develop in order to live up to his potential. Though very strong and athletic, his height will give him hard times in aerial battles. Mentality In just 16 years, Islam Furez had more drama than some people have in a lifetime. One can argue with his decision to leave the club who has treated him so well, but it seems like this kid, who is described as a lively character, is made of the right material. Some Celtic fans were far from happy with his departure and even made some racist remarks against him on his Facebook page, but it didn`t stop from Feruz scoring on his official debut for Chelse`s u-18 team. Current Situation Few years back Slobodan Rajkovic and Scott Sinclair signed with Chelsea around Feruz`s age and were singled out as future stars at Stamford Bridge, but failed to make a breakthrough and are no longer part of the Blues. With a star-studded team, blessed by talented young strikers such as Romelu Lukaku and Daniel Sturridge, it will nothing but easy for the Scottish talent to get first team football in the near future. For now, Feruz needs to focus on his development in Chelsea`s youth academy and in couple of years maybe go on a loan and return to Stamford Bridge as more experienced and complete player that will be able to compete for a place in one of the world`s top clubs. Manchester United`s Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley are good examples. Whatever will be, thinking how life could have been for Islam and his family had the 16 year-old was not blessed with great footballing skills, it is gonna be a hell of a story. http://www.imscoutin...e-Rooney/13533/

LMFAO, so true. Wikipedia makes me laugh at times.

Nike have been doing some random quiz things on twitter, did one on Mata the other day. Giving clues, like who unlocks they play when nobody can etc. Just thought I'd post em:

Contradicting reports coming out. One one side we have Daily Fail and on the other SSN. I do hope these guys are as stern as Levy.
-
It's disgusting. We're not Liverpool, we shouldn't just drop out of a bid if a player is CUP-TIED or that he is 10 million to expensive. Spending 50 MILLION on Torres and not going that extra mile for Hazard is just false economy. I couldn't give two shits if he we don't have him till Summer just guarentee his future at Chelsea!

QPR fail in attempt to sign Brazilian striker Henrique as his work-permit application is rejected
-
I'm supporting TX. He's 23 ( young) but has stayed far away from the Brazil squad. 2 apps? That is quite worrying. Lucas, Neymar and Hulk are all higher in the pecking order and would all be way better acquisitions IMO. Chelsea shouldn't be going for a 3rd rated player for Brazil, it's not a buy that is proportional with our aspirations. Clubs can get away with having a few 'lesser world-class' or rather unglamourised players in their team, but a winger is such a crucial position that we need to aim high. Let's not panic and fill the void in our wing with any old player. Nevertheless AVB does know his wingers, he did buy Rodriguez for Porto afterall Barca and Arsenal have been after him before and he is a quality player. I'm not a Willian expert in all honesty but when I've seen him play he's impressed but I want us to aim higher. So if we can't get Hazard now then I say we go for players with the potential to reach a world-class bracket e.g Munain, Shaqiri, Lucas Ocampos. (Lucas M and Neymar seem to be off the market atm) If it it really is down to financial fairplay then the three aformentioned youngsters could certainly be brought at the same price if not less. If they make it, the benifits could probably be far greater than Willian IMO. Still Hazard is top choice atm, I'd pay an extra 10 million for Hazard anyday even if we let him stay at Lille until Summer. In the long term I think it would be best for us. Hopefully by then Kakuta will be back too and he'll have shown everybody what a special player he is.
-
Apparently we've submitted a new bid, way below clause again. He's a tidy player, but Hazard is priority.

I think he got the quote from here: http://www1.skysport...ntre/clockwatch Look at 10.29am Also I just saw it on SSN - Funny how we 'weren't' going to go for Cup-tied players
