Firstly in regards to Benitez's critique on only being interim manager, if he deemed it inappropriate, why take the job in the first place? When questioned by the media on long term problems such as Lampard's contracts, he was happy with the title, he can't than go and question it. One the fans abuse however, I do agree with Rafa. What do the fans achieve by constant booing? IMO only damaging out push for the UCL spot and progression in whatever competition being played. We know that we are stuck with him for the remainder of the season, I don't think its too hard to support the team for ninety minutes. Any anger at the board can be vented outside the game. Constant abuse of Rafa really doesn't help anything. It would also be nice for some players to take some responsibility and perhaps support him publicly, if only a little.
