Great dilemma we have here. Their stats are very similar and to even compare the two at this age is testament to Courtiois quality. I'll count on Mourinho to make the right choice. He's watched Courtois first hand this season and if anybody has shown bottle in making big decisions with keepers, it's Mourinho. That said I can't see Cech dropped any time soon unless his long term injury really starts affecting him.

I know what your trying to infer and its ridiculous tbh. Every team he's been too his squad has been willing to go to 'war for him', they all still speak of him so highly. Its obvious the Madrid players ego's are huge, as is their player power (particularly Casillas's, once he turned on Jose it wasn't long until squad divisions rose.) If you think that his tenure at Madrid illustrates some sort of a flaw his man management than your simply mistaken.

That's the rumor and it would be a steal if true. Levurkusen and their general manager were angered by Heynckes who basically brought Bayerns pursuit of him into the public eye. Nonetheless, surprisingly I don't think the clause was increased so the apparent 12-15 mill release clause generally seems to be a consensus (not to say it wasn't increased however, to many unknowns).

He could be perfect for us. 24 years old and has begun to establish himself into Germany's international team. His release clause is apparently around 12 mill so it's practically the same figure being touted for De Rossi!

What about one of Lars Bender or Sven Bender. Both aged 24 (being twins ) but my preference would be Lars. His release clause is 12 million and I the more think about it the more I'd love for it to happen. Still you can't say no to De Rossi and I'd take him in a heartbeat.

That's palpably nonsensical. Your saying ignore a attribute which leads to goal scoring opportunities? Falcao by his very nature is a rematador and fundamentally a striker. Also this isn't Hernandez we're talking about, this is Falcao. Since youth he's been touted for greatness, making his debut in the Colombian league at 13 years old. The reason it took so long for the world to recognise his talents was down to his knee ligament problems. This also impacted his attitude today when Falcao plays you see the dedication. Their's not an ounce of fat on him! He's strong (not excessively), quick, technically gifted but most importantly CLEVER and score from any position. He has a natural instinct to score. The name El tigre is testemant to his predatory instincts. Whenever he has been fit he scored goals. He was the first player to be top scorer in the Europa League for two consecutive seasons (albeit Europa) and has also achieved loads of other great milestones. Over 100 goals in Europe, make no illusions he's a world class striker whether you want him here or not. His record speaks for himself and wherever he goes he scores, he will score a lot of them. I'm not saying I want him here particularly but to insinuate he's not world class is wrong.

With Pelligrini I think they'd have the upper hand on an Isco transfer too. Unfortunately for us he's a good step up from Mancini. That said, the things a Mourinho Chelsea team could do. :eyebrows:
