  1. There's a good chance that Maicon will be second choice if he does come here. He might not be happy, but Chelsea will probably be the last big club in Europe he'll play for and so he might be content with that.
  2. Well...why are you giving more attention to the fact that I did bring up Kalou?
  3. Lol... Blatter: For me as Fifa president it became evident the moment what happened in South Africa in 2010," he continued. "I have to say 'thank you Lampard'; I was completely down in South Africa when I saw that. It really shocked me, it took me a day to react. "It happened again in Ukraine, and Ukraine can still not believe it now."
  4. Yeah, in terms of stats he's much worse than Kalou, but he's still a lot younger.
  5. Yesssssss...he got Bosingwa's number..not Drogba's number...he's going to play like Bosingwa not Drogba... Seriously. It's just a number. Nothing more. EDIT: And does it really matter whether he gets a first eleven number or not? Our captain doesn't have one either...
  6. And what if he doesn't? I'm all for Hutchinson reaching the highest of heights, but you have to remember how lucky he is to be even playing at this level..
  7. SeB.., torontochelsea made some interesting posts as well.
  8. But Debuchy is 26, he's not going to come here and agree to be backup to Ivanovic. If the young RB in question was in his early 20's, its a more realistic option to go for someone younger than Maicon. The club merely made this decision: Bosingwa as back-up or Maicon as back-up?
  9. Yeah, he's the new "Brian Clough"...they're probably just upset that we didn't exactly do a "Leeds"
  10. Its not exactly the one young rw that becomes the problem..its the lack of experienced squad members. When things start to go awry, its often the experienced players that help shift the momentum. So yes bro, that could ruin a season.
  11. Probably the only concern when it comes to this transfer..
  12. Hell no, that'll just turn us into another Arsenal..probably worse.
  13. Lol..so I guess that means they're surely going in for Leighton Baines?
  14. I initially had doubts, but since our target is a backup RB this is not a bad option in the slightest. The better option would be to snap up a young, unproven RB but since that's in short supply...
  15. Seriously, there are NO haters, just skeptics and they (including myself) remain skeptical.
  16. Admirable, but still misleading like you said. What will happen next season is uncertain, but there should be no excuses for failure.
  17. Happy for his personal success, (and hoping he can carry some of that into next season), but yeah, 3 goals aren't too much to shout about.
  18. I don't understand how that comparison works...Sturridge has the technique and ability but looks to shoot first and pass second. Heskey is not exactly 'dumb'. He just doesn't have the ability, but he still works for the team.
  19. In all fairness, the current Spanish squad has more quality midfielders than quality strikers.
  20. Hulk should be a good option in that case. An extra creative CM is always useful. I'm still a bit irritated that we let go of Bosingwa THIS season, as this means we will have to cover for that position as well this transfer window,. Who knows, maybe we'll get all three.
  21. Not to mention there are more players out than in. Still, there are a couple of players coming back from loan.
