  1. All due respect to Thailand, but is India that incapable of attracting Chelsea to come and play just once? People buy Chelsea merchandise in India too..
  2. We really need to sign Benteke for Eden..now that Ba and Drogba have left, there's no one else to perform that role, no?
  3. Didn't Carlo recently say that he will be going on a break for at least one season?
  4. As long as he doesn't come here and get an automatic preference over Remy, I don't mind this signing. Nothing he has shown last season warrants a position among the top 2 strikers.
  5. Hah, my camera was also able to capture the lightning bolts:
  6. And surprise, surprise..the title of the article says Chelsea legend. And that's the way it will be. He might forever have a Man City tag attached, but he'll always be a Chelsea legend, simply because of the fact that for all the great many trophies he's won, he's won ZERO with City.
  7. Even if he might have erred by not being open about his move to City, is he really beyond any form of forgiveness? I guess its ok to be angry with him for that, but I can't understand posts that tell Frank to buzz off just because he recollected his glory days with Chelsea. That's just silly and ridiculous. He has more rights to that Chelsea CL win than anyone on this forum.
  8. Not sure, but I guess the media are probably trying to show him some respect and not immediately harass him with questions about his future. But I think we'll know soon.
  9. Going to miss you playing for this club, Didier. Together with Chelsea, he's a magnet for trophies. I've said it before, but we are fortunate to have seen Drogba, Hazard and Mourinho work together for the Blues even if it was just one season. Stuff of dreams
  10. Fabregas and Lampard. Both played for rival clubs at some point to improve their chances at winning silverware, and both played at Chelsea at some point. The latter with an even bigger contribution and playing time, and he left when he was well past his peak. Yet, because Cesc is here right now and Frank isn't, Cesc is all the rage and Frank should just cut all ties with the club? Doesn't seem fair, IMO.
  11. Do you think there's any chance for John Swift? Probably another one comparable in terms of talent
  12. It was Mikel who lost track (some things never change) of Gerrard for the goal, if that's what you're referring to.
  13. Anelka on the right wing over Robben for me. Underrated performance from that position especially in 09/10. Scoring, creating..you name it. And no-one can leave out Essien at his prime from the team.
  14. Question: Does he miss any games because of the yellow card he picked up today?
  15. We know what you are, we know what you are.....Captain, Leader, Legend...that's what you are.
  16. I'm telling you he's an Academy award winner. Always steals the show and floors the referees with his performances.
  17. Haven't seen Fabregas and Oscar combine like that for a goal since the turn of the year...Its been a long time coming, but what a moment.
  18. Unless, Costa appears on the bench tomorrow that is....Those kind of charity matches are not competitive. Shouldn't be a problem to take part even if played the full 90 mins
  19. We better be careful with comments like that..press might pick up on it, and report it to the FA
  20. I'll be disappointed if we don't go into the transfer market for at least one English talent next season. Don't want to worry about FA head honcho Dyke pulling a fast one on us in the future.
  21. One would think, from another perspective, that they would compensate for each other's weakness. But the fact is, they are BOTH lacking when it comes to positional awareness in defending. This is why Ramires works better as b2b then a defensive mid playing in the center. If they both need to play, Matic or Mikel or whoever plays behind them needs to have a really good game.
  22. What problems? Ramires barely plays these days. He happens to start one match and now he's the source of problems....Don't quite understand what the author is trying to prove, unless he's talking about the QPR match alone.
  23. Same,... Bar his chance creation which hasn't really been the same since coming from injury, he looked comfortable on the ball and rarely looked like giving away possession. Really crucial, especially when Hazard and Willian were not really into the game for a good portion of the match.
  24. Tbh, I don't think Mourinho would have been afforded the luxury of having the kind of results United had in those 6 months to implement "his philosophy"
  25. Wish he had got a few minutes today though,...he's been out for a long time and some match practice would have been nice ahead of a big match like this. But all the same, I don't recall ever looking at Mikel play in a game and think that he lacks match fitness. More or less plays as expected
