Is every other day of the year 'International Men's Day', and if it isn't why isn't there one? Shouldn't everday be International Women's and Men's Day? I have this bullshit two hour break between lectures today and to kill time I decided to wall down to Queen Street and do some window shopping of things I'll never purchase.im probably 15 metres into the street and I notice everyone isn't moving is bunched up in groups around the entrance and shop walls. I hear some security guards yelling stuff and pointing guns at something or someone out of sight. I try to walk around the whole ordeal because my cynicism said that it was a bullshit prank or something but my common sense told me something was up and it was for real. So I linger around a bit trying to make sense of the ordeal but security initiates evacuation, so everyone (including myself) walk out a bit and stand around the mouth of the mall. Security didn't like this and we were yelled at to get out if the premises Sirens and other things went off but I didn't see any vehicles.... So I trekked my way back to QUT and sat down the botanical gardens to post this story. Now I'm being attacked my mosquitoes. I think I'll have a kebab for lunch.
