  1. He impressed me so much after his frist match I splurged and bought a Juan Mata 10 shirt.
  2. Well I have been on a long run of sobriety.
  3. Come now, Romper Stomper you should know your English isn't good enough for your Brazilian styled sarcasm.
  4. Because Man Utd fans thought they were about to sign Hazard and then he signed for us. Then they got Kagawa. Now they are butthurt.
  5. And that is one of the reasons he has been my ava for the better part of a year.
  6. But the 4-4-2 to the 4-3-3 is much more natural evolution than the 4-2-3-1 to the 3-5-2? The only thing that changes in a 4-3-3 is that a striker is sacrificed for another midfielder, big woop. The wingers of the 4 are still there but counted as fowards. The 3-5-2 is a complete restructering, not only are fullbacks eliminated but an extra CB is added to the mix. Attacking Midfielders have to play basically as fowards and the midfield is basicall the same as a 4-3-3. What's the point of buying a manager that has a completely different ethos? It's just going to create further confusion and ambiguity at the club. This team has no ethos, no soul, no culture.
  7. Who can honestly say they wouldn't so the same? When you know you are a rubbish player and things aren't going to get better, may as well take what you can and run.
  8. And praytell how would he go about it? Do you really think Chelsea has the players to support a 3-5-2? Look at Juve, now look at Chelsea, now look at Juve again. What do you see? The same team? Chielini - Barzagli - Bonucci Pirlo Liechsteiner - Marchisio - Vidal - Asamoah Giovinco - Quagliarella Where are Mata, Oscar and Hazard going to fit? Surely not in midfield, using their fleet feet in replacement of Marchisio's and Vidal's grit and hardwork? What about Mikel? He isn't Pirlo... Ramires would be a dream in that Juve team, though. Does Chelsea have the CBs to support this formation? Can Azpilicueta and Cole cut it at wide midfield? Terry - Luiz - Cahill Mikel Azpilicueta - Lampard - Ramires - Cole Mata - Ba That doesn't look to flashy and effective to me. Oscar and Hazard are being wased on the bench.
  9. Already one of my favourite players from the new generation.
  10. I'm sick of this bullshit. The team is stocked of amazing players, that could be world beaters. But they are from different cultures, styles and ability. None if them mesh together in a formation or ethos, some are complete polar opposites. Fucking drawing against Mam Utd, bollocks.
  11. I didn't realise Oscar was a central defender...this is oscar's topic, right? Here I was sitting thinking we were taking about Oscar, haha.
  12. Exactly. But he does have amazing potential to play amazingly. Of he can replicate some of his performances from the euros he is as good as gold.
  13. I wish I was more like Romelu. He seems very down to earth, calm and adjusted. He isn't much older than I am, but he is a lot more mature. And richer.
  14. Pellegrini would be dreadful. 3-5-2? Hell naw, that isn't going to work at Chelsea. Chelsea's main dilemma is that the club has way too many number 10 attacking midfield/deep lying foward types. Which strangely enough the polar opposite was the problem a few years back, everyone and their dog was praying for a real number 10.
  15. I'm honestly shocked that people are questioning Oscar's abilities to perform at high level. Why is he selected for the Selecao? Because of his grande reputation? He isn't Kaká or Ronaldinho he can't be selected for his repuation, the only leg he has to stand on his skill.
  16. I haven't been on here that often lately nor have I been posting often but...is it just me or have users been leaving?
  17. A team still has to beat the scrubs sides and that is something Chelsea hasn't been doing lately.
  18. Dortmund a steop back from Manchester City? Haha, fuck that.
