Fernando Lucas Martins or Fernando for short is a tenacious DM that plays for Brazilian Série A team Grêmio. He hasn't been around for too long, this being only his second season but he has already broken into Seleção despite he inexperience. Hardworking and tenacious, makes up for his lake of stature (174cm) but already I'd rate him over the other Seleção DMs: Ramires, Pauliho and Romulo. World Football is moving away from big hulking DMs and CMs that is why all the best CMs and DMs are dimunitive players like Moutinho, Cabaye and Modric.

Jag has been bossing it around for a while now. He has always been a top CB but recently he has gone beyond that. He isn't exactly young being aged 30 but he could provide a couple of seasons worth of experience and realiability. Chelsea doesn't always have to go for the 20 year old diamond in the rough. Chelsea are suffering in the CB department and Jag could provide more than what is currently supplied. Plus he is English and that quota always needs to be filled!

He is very tenacious though, that sort of makes up for it.
