  1. I love this guy lol. I think i mentioned it somewhere before, but i watched some Galatasary games because of Drogba + Sneijder, and Yilmaz scored like every time. He was also one of the top scorers in CL, proving he doesn't score 'simply' because it's the Turkish league. We're running out of options, so i wouldn't really be against him or anyone else who's not exactly a big name. As long as they're better than Torres and Ba...
  2. Ugh. He's so painfully wasteful.
  3. Yaya Toure gets like double that, Terry who can't even start regularly gets more than that. So, if he can come here and improve our midfield like a player of his caliber really should, then.... meh.
  4. They are far more experienced strikers who have scored hundreds of goals in Top European leagues. Lukaku would do well learning from behind them. I'm actually amazed with the people calling for Lukaku to be our main striker, he was a super sub for West brom and that's the most he can be here atm.
  5. It's so important that we get someone who can score goals. Torres works hard - sometimes - and he also makes good passes to the players behind him, but when he gets a chance, he needs 3 minutes to actually take a good shot, and this is unacceptable when you want to compete with the best teams. Strikers of some teams we will be competing against next season: Mandzukic, Aguero, RVP, Chicarito, Tevez, Messi, Cavani (if he stays at Napoli or goes to PSG), Suarez, Balotelli, Higuain. Top teams have good strikers, there's no 2 ways about it. So with all the money at our disposal it will be a joke to go into the season with a 'prospect' and 2 average strikers. One of Ba or Torres has to leave and make way for a better player. Gomez > Soldado > Yilmaz for me atm.
  6. Most hated club in England + Most hated player = perfect marriage lol.
  7. Nah. Suarez is a beast, he can score from literally nothing. He's one of those players that actually creates his own chances, because he can dribble past any defender in football and make them look silly. They don't get much better and complete than him. Yep.
  8. Best striker in the Premier League. But he does a lot of stupid things and wants to leave because he's "sad" about being criticized for them, so no chance of this happening.
  9. Great signing. Aubameyang can play with Lewy though next season, since BVB said they won't be selling.
  10. We'll there's a reason he is fat lol.
  11. If i didn't know anything about him and i watched him only for Brazil, i would think he's easily top 5 CB's in the world. He's good for us, but for Brazil he's a different beast - helps that he has an awesome partner i guess.
  12. Mate, Chelsea, Man City and Real Madrid can afford 63m. But the problem is FFP and the fact it isn't exactly wise to pay all of that on 1 player, when most likely there's other positions to fill. Napoli asking for it all in 1 payment doesn't make things any better. Also in Madrid's case, Perez said they can pay any amount for a player, as long as he's able to make that money in shirt sales etc - but can Cavani do that? certainly not on the level of other top players. Anyway i can understand ADL's approach, it's the same Spurs will do for Madrid in regards to Bale, because no team wants to lose their star player easily.
  13. He has pace, he needs to learn to use it more effectively in Spain. No need to cut inside every damn time, when you can also beat the defender to the by-line and cut it back for a team-mate etc.
  14. Lmao that video, the game against Bolivia? why would they allow themselves to be consistently raped from long balls like that? smh.
  15. Italy bossin' this, only a matter of time before Spain score then..
  16. This is pretty much Juventus vs Barcelona.
  17. It is not uncommon for other teams to get a certain amount when a player is sold. But it will be from the 63m ADL is asking for, not 7m extra.
  18. Loool wow, he flew because of a simple hand to the face
  19. Managers don't sign players at Porto, so not sure how he built the team. The fact they lost Hulk and Falcao and still managed to win the league says a lot about their scouting system - buy ridiculously cheap, sell ridiculously high lol.
  20. Sigh. I'm sick of reading about how every other striker not named Cavani or Lewandowski is "not good enough" for Chelsea. It would be very nice if one of those players join, but if it's not possible the club has to look at other options. And there are quite a few good strikers out there - it's not just about the name and how much they cost, it's all about production and if they can improve the team. Man utd signed Chicarito from nowhere and he's easily one of the best strikers in the premier league. Bayern won the treble with Mandzukic and his sexy tap-ins etc etc.
