I just hate seeing our players wearing these skin tight shirts. You always see them constantly adjusting them and trying to stretch them out. Also make certain players like Mata and Hazard look strange. Makes Mata look like he's got a gut.
While I agree with your point, just look what happens when either of Mata or Hazard aren't playing. I hate to say this, but we look almost midtable, Liverpool-esque when Mata doesn't start. This is why I'm not against going after a Isco or a MUCH less likely Gotze. Not a priority obviously.
Guess I should know by now that sarcasm isn't as easily detectable over teh internetz.I've been one of KdB's biggest fans and advocates of him being a regular for us next season. I don't want him sold or loaned again.
This has "lifeless 0-0 draw" written all over it. I'm in agreement with those saying that we should try Ba and Torres from the start. Torres looks really up for it recently and I doubt we'll need too much in the middle to contain Fulham. It can't hurt. We need to actually start out fast for once and put it away early.
Gulf in class is depressing. Position for position our players are as talented or better than theirs, but they actually play like a well oiled machine whilst we looks like disjointed mess.
Absolute mirror of the last game against City. Dominated in possession, give the ball away instantly, and Hazard has had about 2 touches. Getting outclassed.
Hope it's not like our last matchup. City dominated us from the start and it wasn't for quite a while that we got into our groove. We could barely keep the ball for longer than a few seconds at times in the first half and couldn't string multiple passes together to save our lives. Zabaleta, Yaya, Silva, and Tevez always seem to own us.
Is there a luckier team on this planet than Arse? The insanely easy end of season run-in and all these comebacks and decisions? This Arsenal team is absolutely SHIT and they very well may finish above us. It's essentially like we're being punished for doing well in other competitions. We have this murderous run of games where we play every 3 or so days whilst Arse have what should be a cake walk in comparison. Infuriating really. Makes that 10 point or whatever it was lead we had on them all the more depressing to think about. And now Everton are right back in it as well. I'm not as terrified as some others about missing Top 4, though. I believe we can easily weather 1 year out if the CL and still attract top players.
No way in HELL he'd go to United unless Rooney and one of Cheatcharito or Welbeck were sold. That, and I doubt they'd feel the need to blow £45m+ on a player who plays in their strongest position after likely winning the league by double-digit points. Laughable story.
This could end up being a disastrous weekend. City, Spuds, and Arse all easily dominating their games and are ahead. Everyone around us will most likely win. We're meanwhile getting embarrassed by a bottom table side.
