Isn't it a bit strange that he's so keen to go to a team that's already at its peak and has multiple superstars already on the roster? If I were him I'd prefer to go to a place where can be the featured guy in a team that has great potential. Like here . Don't exactly know where he'd fit, but surely with all of his mates here and the chance to work under Jose must tempt him?
I'd take him in an instant. Could easily play at LW too. Very good going forward and offers an entirely different threat than Ash or Bertrand. Jose obviously loved him to pay such a big fee for him, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if he comes here.
Exactly.Man City is less poplar here than even Everton and Fulham. United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool are king here. TONS of Chelsea supporters here.
Last time I was watching Chelsea play in our prime time hours was during preseason where we saw Hazard in a blue shirt for the first time. Unfortunately this one wont be as exciting. Knowing how desperate City are to gain more fans around the world, I wouldn't be surprised if they played a bunch of their first team to try to impress Americans by beating our 2nd or 3rd team.
Think we'll embarrass City with fan turn out in both of these friendlies. The vast majority of the fans will be wearing Chelsea blue rather than City blue, I reckon.
I actually think we should sell both.Buy Cavani or Falcao and have Lukaku as second choice while still getting a bunch of game time and learning under one of those world class strikers and Mourinho at the same time. Then we'll have Schurrle likely too to play up top if necessary.
Falcao I think is still possible but unlikely, but I think City will throw so much money at Napoli that they'll eventually get Cavani.Cavani + Aguero with Silva and Yaya behind them. Really is imperative that we make the right moves.
