Being American and not English the FA Cup doesn't really have much significance or sentimental value to me. Therefor if we win it'll be nice that we beat a rival and advance, but if we lose I won't be bothered at all. Fewer fixtures and more rest to focus on the league.

I agree with you guys about Ramires. He struggles with even simple passes all the time. Always has. That in combination with his woeful finishing when he's wide open around the opposition box makes him so frustrating sometimes. He looked like our standout player at the start of the season but he's been shit recently.

Can see United getting a result tomorrow but it's City and Liverpool that concern me. Never expected us to win the title this season. Liverpool concern me the most since they don't have CL to worry about. They can play at that breakneck level that they did against Arse for the rest of the season due to the amount of rest they'll have between matches.

Just rage inducing for me when we drop silly points against sides who don't have a single player who'd even make our bench. Knowing we can possibly create a small gap at the top and put massive pressure on our rivals the player should've been starving to make a statement win. Instead, we just stopped playing and offered West Brom a point on a plate.Should've killed that game. Dropping points to Everton next week I could've accepted. Not West Brom. With City and Liverppol having bankers in their next matches we MUST beat Everton now.
-
That's the most frustrating thing. We go into matches like City, Liverpool, United, Newcastle and the like a bit nervy and not expecting an easy match, but when we come up against SHIT relegation candidate sides like West Ham and West Brom we just don't seem bothered or have so few ideas. We should be entering into matches like this expecting to blow teams like this out of the water with the talent we throw out there compared to theirs.
-
It's like something just clicked in our players heads and we suddenly stopped playing. Comfortable pinging the ball around at times and then just nothing. They utterly dominated us in the latter part of the 2nd half. Unacceptable. We did indeed look labored and tired. I HATE matches like this and I despise West Brom.
-
Absolutely SHOCKING performance. Made them look like a top 4 side in the last 30 minutes. Didn't look like scoring at all. Not only will that almost certainly relinquish our top spot, but it brings Liverpool firmly in the title race if they weren't already. Fucking TERRIBLE!
-
Spot fucking on!Hazard needs to stay out wide. Willian has been superb!
-
Wake up, FFS!
-
Hold the ball and speed it up!
-
I may cry if we lose. MUST WIN!
-
This should be a spanking if we continue the form we've been on. Great lineup. Professional performance, please!
-
Just can't see where West Brom get goals from with the way we're playing and the way they're playing. Maybe they get a freak, fluke goal, but then I can't see them stopping us from scoring more than once. Depends on how our midfield is setup.

What I don't understand is why PSG keep getting mentioned. Why would he take a massive step down to a 2 team league(1 as soon as Falcao leaves Monaco) when he's playing a starring role in the best league under the best manager? Why go from playing a big and important match every week where any team can beat any other to a league where you're playing teams most people have never heard of? Maybe if he wins 2-3 PL's and a CL trophy by the time he's in his late 20's he'd want to go back to France to take it easy and get absolutely obscene wages. José loves him, he seems to love it here, and we're building a team that's just as, if not more ambitious than PSG's. Only way he goes there any time soon is if he pushes for it AND they bid £100m.

This is the lineup I'd like to see.If Schürrle struggles we can introduce Willian or Salah for pace and energy. Matic is a must. For the love of god PLEASE no Ramires & Lamps partnership. If we play the above lineup I'll say it'll be a comfortable 0-3.
-
Saw an article yesterday in the Mail showing Agüero and Nasri training. Figured they'd be fit by the weekend, but they're ruled out? Nice.
-
We have two very tough matches against City and Everton after this one so we need the win not only for the 3 points but for confidence and momentum. City will be out for revenge and have injured players back and Everton wil be desperate for points to stay in the top 4 race. Can't afford to drop points today before playing a desperate side who's already beaten us this season.
-
Wow. That's a pretty telling quote I think.I can see Lukaku being sold and Piazon too. Courtois we'd be insane to sell. We could use the former two to raise funds for a new forward.
-
Seeing more quotes of José today saying he feels sorry for United and their current situation. I've said this before, but it just doesn't sit right with me. It's a bit cringey. He'll stir the pot with Wenger and Pellegrini but goes soft when there's anything to do with United. Wish he'd stick the dagger in and twist it a bit.
-
Hazard gets banned for kicking a ball. Yaya kicks a player and gets nothing. Yep, understandable.
-
Yet another decision goes in City's favor. Yaya gets off with no ban.
-
Damn! Thought JT's "injury" was just a precautionary rest for Newcastle. Thought he could've played that one if necessary but I guess not. Matic must 100% start now. Like someone said, if we line up with any other pivot in addition to the Luiz/Cahill partnership we'll be too exposed.
-
Yeah, can't see Ramires sitting out for two league matches in a row. If anything it's Matic that'll get a rest. I sure hope not, but it wouldn't shock me.Matic should start every remaining prem match.
-
I'm actually convinced that Phil Jones has direct lineage to the Neanderthals. He hasn't fully evolved or something. He looks like something straight out Lord of the Rings.
-
Can't afford to ease off and play any squad players like Schwarzer. Play the absolute strongest side and play like we have been. We need to insure we get as many wins as possible before the fixture list starts getting congested again. Hell, I wouldn't even mind playing a lineup similar to the City match with Luiz/Matic/Ramires against West Brom. Anything to ensure the win. We can't claim the top spot and then lose it within days. This week can become even better than this past one if we win and Agent Mata helps United down Arse.
