This is going to be a frustrating night, then? I kind of dread these types of matches. Or at least I did last season. When we're expected to totally dominate a team and everyone all over the place picks us to smash a small team 5 or 6-0 and we end up struggling mightily or losing.

I distinctly remember many Arsenal fans doubting whether Ramsey was even Arsenal quality. He was borderline terrible a couple of seasons ago.Now they all think he's the best player in the league (LOL!).

City's midfield is the reason I hope we're still open to bringing in another CM. For the big games you know City will probably play a midfield 3 of Yaya/Fernando/Fernandinho and be ridiculously strong there. I'm not sure I'd trust Ramires up against a midfield like that. If we were to bring in someone like Khedira to play next to Matic and have a 3 of Cesc/Khedira/Matic I'd feel far more confident. We can't forget how important Luiz was in those huge games. He and Matic dominated together. We don't have that kind of partner for him anymore.

You can just tell by how calm and relaxed Van Gaal is even in defeat that he knows some big names are coming in. Benatia, Vidal, and Di Maria and they're favorites since they'll have a game a week for much of the season. Wouldn't be surprised if they brought in even more players than that.

I mean, those are the kind of numbers the other top #10's are probably gonna get. Mata, Özil, Silva, and even Eriksen will likely put up 10 & 10 seasons so why not Oscar? Sure he's not a great creative passer like those guys but with players like Hazard, Schürrle, Costa, and Cesc around him it shouldn't be THAT difficult.

I don't think 12-15 league goals from Oscar is unreasonable to expect this season. If he can add double digit assists too it would be a very nice season. If he has another season like last then I think we should be looking for a new #10 next summer.

I see he's already changed his twitter to "Oscar8" I really, really hope Oscar takes that huge step up we all want to see. We need him to be in top form and has the potential to be our most important player.

I think Khedira is a clear improvement on Ramires. Big game against a great opponent I'd trust Khedira in there over. Ramires who struggles most of the time with schoolboy concepts like passing, shooting, and tackling. To be honest, I'd love to have both and ship Mikel out.

Seems pretty stupid with Drogba only being here for one season (hopefully).

What a sideways move that would be for Reus. Not buying it. You'd think a player with his ability would have more ambition. This is easily the strangest rumor relating to outgoing players. I don't think there's even a slight chance José is thinking of selling Andre. He's going to be one of our most important players this season. Only if a colossal bid came in.

Vidal to United rumors heating up again. Seems like one week it's imminent, the next it's silent. Pretty incredible that they're waiting this long if they indeed want him so badly. I guess since they have such a piss easy start that whatever new signings they bring in won't really need to hit the ground running. If they manage to sign Vidal, Di Maria, and a new defender... Without Europe they'll be a seriously good side.
