Madueke killing another attack…
-
Soon as I call Madueke shit (which he has been!) he assists and scores.
-
Take Madueke off ffs. Such a bang average player. Can’t stand watching him these days. Such promise early on this season but has gone back to his normal level which is bang fucking average.
-
If we fail to win this at home to the team in 17th and with City next up, when do we start to wonder whether Maresca’s job is in jeopardy?
-
And the sad part is, who can we look to for a good source of another goal? Palmer looks about 50% fit and is just walking around out there. Jackson has t been in the game at all and the few glimpses he’s had have been his usual fuck ups. Neither winger has touched the ball since the first 10 minutes. We again look out of ideas and have no striker or reliable goal scorer who can change the game.
-
The team just repeatedly dies when we go ahead. The patterns of play, the zip in our passing, the super aggression and attacking quality we saw up until this Christmas time run are all long gone. We look like a completely different team. Palmer also looks nowhere near fit and without him sharp we look even worse.
-
Same script, different game. How fucking weak was that from Sanchez. Terrible player.
-
Both Cucu and Jackson have been so damned sloppy with simple control and passing today.
-
We once again started pretty well but have failed to keep our foot on the gas since the goal. Not getting our attackers on the ball nearly enough.
-
Jackson scuffing a point blank chance within 1 minute! 🤣🤣🤣
-
Yeah, if we get shredding through the middle here perhaps it’ll finally get our directors to recall a midfielder.
-
Midfield just looks so defensively susceptible. Caicedo again asked to be a 1 man defensive shield since Lavia can’t fucking stay fit for longer than 1 match at a time. The attack looks fine but the question will be if we can put together a full 90 minutes or if we start strong and then crumble as we have been doing.
-
He’s yet another young, raw talent when we already have loads of that profile. We need to IMPROVE the squad, not just add more and more young players who need years to develop. On top of that, I just don’t rate him.
-
He’s not better than any of our wingers. I don’t think he offers anything at all to our team. I’d rather have Sterling back from the wilderness than signing this average player for £60-70m.
-
We completely fucked them over with the Mount deal and now we might cancel that great business out by buying one of their shit players for an even more silly price.
-
If we were going to do a completely pointless and ill advised move for a United player I would rather have Mainoo who we were linked with than fucking Garnacho.
-
Lovely. Another random teenaged defender for a good chunk of money that we don’t need. Imagine the team we would have if we took a bunch of this money we’re splashing on youngsters who will never be Chelsea quality and spent it on proven quality instead.
-
Thankfully this source is clueless and awful. Because didn’t this guy flop horribly at Arse and on loan with Forest?
-
Yep, the absolute ceiling for us is now 4th. City rounding into form before their huge group of shiny new signings even arrives means they’re certain to finish above us. We now have to hope that Forest and Newcastle regress to their means and we quickly round back into electric form. Which at the moment looks very unlikely. Liverpool, Arse, and City will be the top 3 if I had to bet. City and Newcastle in particular going from 9 and 11 points behind us respectively and their seasons looking dead in the water a month ago to flying and ahead of us is INSANE. City literally looked like they could lose to any team they players. Their whole team looked dreadful and old and like they had given up. Now they’ll be thinking that they could realistically chase down the two in front of them.
-
Another side that were miles behind us and who had a historically bad spell for Pep and yet they’re now ahead of us. 🤦♂️
-
The PSR report or whatever came out the other day and we were apparently comfortably compliant. I don’t think we’re in any fair play danger at all. I don’t think spending will be an issue for us and the players were being linked with proves that because they’d all be very expensive. They’re just the wrong players!
-
City’s ownership have looked at the current situation they’re in and have literally said “no, we refuse to let ourselves finish outside of the UCL places this year” and are taking immediate, aggressive action to ensure they don’t. They’ve completely refreshed their team in the span of a couple of weeks and are now reportedly after a new midfielder which they badly need. Seriously, how embarrassing is it that City, who have the best #9 on the planet already, have gone out and spent €80m on his fucking backup whilst we have only Nico Jackson who has missed 50 chances in the last month and there’s not even a peep about us pursuing a striker? It’s simple, City’s club ethos in the market is about not only the future, but the here and now. Ours on the other hand under this new regime is obsessing almost solely on what we could be 5 years from now. We need to stop targeting all these raw, unproven teenagers and start bringing in elite, experienced quality.
-
I hate every single link I’m seeing, ffs. Garnacho, Adeyemi, Tel. Getting rid of players we should keep. Refusing to go after players in positions of dire need.
-
Fucking stupid. We should be playing him more here, not getting rid of him already! 🤬
-
I’d rather have Mudryk than spunking money on Garnacho. That’s how little I rate him. Shit, I’d take 34 year old retired Hazard over him.
