Assuming he isn't sold by then, it would be lovely to see Hazard and CHO flanking Higuain against Bournemouth. Though with Willian scoring again today I doubt Sarri will leave him out in a PL match.
Been a common theme throughout the season and it has happened about 3 times already today: Willian cutting in from the left and playing a terrible, slow pass across the middle of the pitch that gets intercepted and launches a counter attack for the opposition.
They can't live with CHO. If his end product was betterment today we'd be out of sight.
Higuain with great movement and excellent first touch but they have their entire team parked around their penalty area. As usual, we struggle to break it down.
Jeez, the way our official Twitter is hyping Higuain you'd think Messi was making his Chelsea debut!
If he doesn't score in his first match it seems people will be disappointed, lol.
So we're really gonna sell Zappa without bringing someone in? We haven't been linked othe a single fullback, have we?
Anyways, it seems we've said to CHO's transfer request "nah, you're staying."
At this point I'm not even bothered if he leaves. But it will look incredibly bad for the club to lose our most promising and talented youth player and then possibly our best senior player in Hazard within 6 months.
We should be all over him. Loads of big game experience in big competitions. Can play anywhere across midfield.
Wouldnt be extraordinarily expensive and is still young as well.
Emerson 🔥🔥🔥
So much more balanced and dangerous than having Alonso there. Those constant overlaps with Hazard and actual dangerous crosses.
Imagine Higuain on the end of those instead of Giroud who is a bit of a bottler.
Spuds still have a pretty strong side out there so this won't be a push over by any means. But at home, them missing so many important players, and us coming off a terrible defeat...losing this would be absolutely horrible.
Willian did his "come on Chelsea" tweet today. So that means he's starting.
Please no false 9. Even if it may be the last time we see it I really don't want to.
A thing I always like seeing with our new signings is how they form friendships with our other players who speak their languages. Should be easy for Gonzalo to settle in with all the other Spanish speakers we have.
As far as his game goes, I hope that even if he doesn't score right away he at least works his socks off and makes himself a huge pain in the ass for defenders. Make opposing teams fearful of a Chelsea striker for the first time since Diego Costa left.
He was never gonna play against Spuds unless he arrived a few days ago and had a couple of training sessions. Just get him up to speed for the next PL match.
Man, what is the hold up here? This feels like the longest I've ever seen between every reputable reporter saying "done deal" and it actually being announced.
Higuain up top, flanked by Hazard and either Pedro or CHO, Emerson for Alonso, and use Zappacosta more against teams that we know are going to sit deep. Do these things and I think we'll finish top 4.
True. But at least it's not like the summer where he'll have just been sitting on his ass for ages and need lots of time to settle. With luck he'll be able to slot straight in and hit the ground running. Knows the coach, knows the system, knows what is expected of his role.
