Jorginho's quality on the ball is well known. Past few games and today again he has been ridiculous at winning the ball back and playing out from deep. Big strides next season for him.

Kepa and Jorginho were fantastic. Everyone else was horrific after halftime. Pedro and Azpi may have played their worst ever matches for Chelsea.

Nice to be up and fairly comfortable despite getting almost nothing from Giroud or Willian. Kovacic was once again pretty useless, too.

If we start out like we did against them in the first leg with this midfield things may get bad. We need to be at maximum press and energy from the opening whistle.

Yeah, I'm definitely not confident that we'll be able to keep a clean sheet. I do feel better that we've got top 4 sewn up however so there won't be as much massive pressure on our mentally weak players. This is almost like a bonus for us so I hope the players go out there with lots of freedom and confidence.

On the one hand, it would be pretty hilarious to have Arsenal be the only big London club to not have a CL, but the love in from the media and the smug Spud fans would be unbearable. Imagine Arsenal Fan TV if Spuds won! 😂

So the entire reason we were punished in the first place was for signing underage players yet even with the ban upheld, we are allowed to continue signing 16 year old players but not senior ones. Barca players channeling their inner Morata here. Think I counted 3 times they were clean through on goal and couldn't finish. Must be said that even missing key players Liverpool look very good. Klopp is probably the 2nd best coach in world football and gets the absolute most out of even average players.

All these star players on show here and the player I covet most is Ben Chillwell. What a player. He will become world class if he moves to a big club. I desperately wish we'd sign him this summer. Would probably cost something like £70m, unfortunately. City and Liverpool are both well stocked at fullback, Arse and Spuds would never spend that sort of money on a player, and United already have their young English LB, plus no CL football to offer. I think if we really went after him he'd be there relatively unopposed by the other big clubs.

True, but difference this time is their hand may be forced if we have to buy before a transfer ban kicks in. Even the bozo's on our board know that we are miles and miles behind the top 2 and only significant outlay will bridge the gap. They can't be stupid enough to think Higuain and Giroud are going to challenge for the title. We really will morph into Arsenal if that happens.

Not worried about the Higuain situation. I can't imagine the club will think he's good enough to be our main striker and challenge City and Liverpool. If he does stay and we can sign players we'll surely bring in someone else to be first choice. That would certainly spell the end for Giroud, though, because he ain't sticking around to be 3rd choice. I just want to see Chelsea with a striker who's more than just a goal scorer or target man. I want to see a proper footballer who can beat players with skill and pace and who can actually fucking score from outside the box. Be nice to have one who can win us matches when we have shit days as well. It's what kept Arse as close to a top 4 finish all season. Play poorly and have Aubameyang & Lacazette bail them out repeatedly. Same with Spuds and Kane/Son. We haven't had that since Diego left.

Sarri with a full summer of prep and (God willing) a proper summer transfer window and we should be much better next season. We'll be in a desperate fight for 4th spot again if the transfer ban is upheld, though. Probably much worse off actually if Hazard goes. Maybe this will finally be the window where we find our next long term striker. Perhaps someone with really good pace for a change instead of the usual traditional #9 we've been signing. Someone in the mould of Aubameyang. Who that is, I don't know.

What a player Ruben is now. Our best attacking midfielder by far lately and has now established himself as a best XI player. Dominant physically but also has silky skill to glide past players with ease. And my oh my was Hazard excellent today. One last game to finish this thing off. Would be heartbreaking and devastating to fail from here.

Higuain can be dreadful at times but if you keep giving him chances at the near post he'll bury one. His favorite spot to receive the ball.

We seriously look like we could concede from every Watford attack. Deolufeu is destroying us nearly every time he picks the ball up. We need to keep the damn ball, ffs.

On the occasions we actually do get in the ball around their box we look like Mourinho's Chelsea near the end. Everything grinds to a standstill, everyone just standing around. We make it so damned easy for these lesser teams to defend us and get back into position because we're not moving quickly.

Seriously, what are Luiz and Andreas playing at? They've lost literally everything in the air regardless of the player. And how redundant is Kovacic? Offers zero going forward and not much defensively. The absolute opposite sort of performance I expected from us. We once again look like scared pussies against a physical midtable side. It's been the themes of our season.

Defense an absolute shambles and midfield invisible. Deeny is dominating both CB's. This is embarrassing.
