Who cares what the actual fee was, we've got ourselves a player that literally any club in Europe would have in their team if they could afford him.
-
Speaks better English than many English players. As an American he is 100% easier for me to understand than Barkley for instance with that godawful Scouse accent.
-
Some of these smaller PL teams will get desperate as the deadline approaches and it's at that time we can probably scam a couple of them into coming for our deadwood. Maybe even on loan if necessary. Could see Ross or RLC going on loan.
-
I wait around all day incase we announce him and then as soon as I take an afternoon nap it happens and I miss it. 😆😆😆 LETS GOOOOO! I distinctly recall saying when we were first linked with him a couple of months ago that it would be impossible. With Barkley and RLC still here I'm still not sure how we've pulled this off! I figured we'd have to shed at least a couple of players before even considering making a move for Havertz. What a ridiculous signing.
-
Surprised there haven't been any grainy spy shots of Kai at Heathrow or around Cobham yet. 😆
-
NICE! Hopefully that's fucked City's transfer plans completely. Barca about to have a pissed off, unmotivated, sulking Messi all season. And him not moving this summer surely means City won't be in for him again when he's a year older, right?
-
With Havertz in, I'd give our transfer window a 9/10 so far. That will raise to a 9.5/10 if we get a new keeper in and a 10/10 if we manage to offload some of our duds like Emerson, Barkley, Bakayoko, Drinkwater etc. Just a stunning job we've done so far.
-
German side will surely claim €100m while our side will be briefing English reporters €70-80m.
-
To think within a few short summers ago we were being linked to Andy Carrol, Peter Crouch, Callum Wilson and buying Djilobodji, Pato, Falcao,Michael Hector, Miazga etc. 😂😂😂😂 And now we're finally shopping in the top tier like a big club should.
-
So we'll get Havertz for tens of millions less than Bayer initially asked for and Chiilwell for 30m less than what they initially wanted. The Corona discount is real and we've exploited it masterfully. Neither of those clubs would've had any reason at all to budge in those demands if this were a normal summer.
-
Most important thing. Some of our rivals will be scrambling near deadline day for some of their big targets while we'll already be training with ours. That should be huge.
-
Right then, let's see how cheesy this announcement video will be! They've had ages to produce it! 😆
-
Like he did in his first appearence for us against Brighton, he's playing all across the front 3. Popping up everywhere.
-
Excellent comparison. Similarly to Auba, Werner is razor sharp in and around the box. Also like Auba if he gets a sniff you just expect he will always score.
-
Good, wrap Kai in wool. Don't want that dangerous bastard Sergio Ramos impaling him with his studs or something before he plays for us. 😂
-
My birthday is at the end of December. Hope the club announce Havertz before then.
-
Marca is well known as a Real Madrid mouthpiece. Anything they say can be disregarded.
-
At least all doubt about this transfer happenening at all is out the window. That's good enough for me, I guess. Yes, it's annoying waiting but whatever. He'll be a Chelsea player 100%. The next anxious bit is finding out whether he'll be ready to go and train with the squad straight away or if he'll have to quarantine for 2 weeks first. Pretty fucked up if Bayer stalled this deal we've known was happening for ages knowing it would screw us with the quarantine shit.
-
Wonder if the holdup is on our side or Bayer's. Like maybe there's one tiny piece of paperwork left and that's what's preventing us from announcement.
-
Yuck. Looks like a knockoff Palace kit.
-
A lot of the time when these mid to low table sides buy a bunch of new players they fall flat on their faces. Carlo is a great manager so if anyone can raise Everton's level it's him. They'll probably be a tough match for all of the big boys if they raise their game for those occasions. Can see a little pack of several midtable clubs forming that on their day can be awesome. Like Wolves or Sheff United last season. Everton could be like those sides if these signings click with the decent players they already had.
-
This deal has been done for ages. What could possibly be the holdup now? Had his medical and there's apparently been an agreement in place with Bayer for weeks.
-
Well whoever it is, the clock is ticking. Starting the season with Kepa in the net and then yanking him out again for a new keeper would be ridiculous.
-
Is Donnarumma actually any good? I remember all the hype a couple of years ago when he was like 18/19 and starting for Milan but haven't heard as much about him in a while. In the comments section of some YouTube vids I've watched of him over the past couple of days there are people saying he's no better or maybe even worse than Kepa.

Chelsea twitter admin is a trolling bastard with that latest tweet... 😂
